Kestrel considered the situation for a moment. It could work and he had no issue carrying the little one home should he need to. She did need time to recover though. Luckily he could also help with that. He had helped many with his herbal remedies and he could do so again.

"I can. Would be best to let you recover first, no?"

"Hehe, yeah." Star said, giggling a little. "Once I'm there, I want to actually walk, r-right?" she finished, her voice filling with laughter. Plus they'd be like, 'What happened to you? Did somepony break your legs?' Haha, yeah. now THAT would've been a tale to tell..." she said, tears streaming from her eyes from the amount of laughter she was experiencing.

The gryphon chuckled at the mares rather sudden laughing spout. "Indeed. Have something that help with that. Will take time still, but not quite as long as would if allowed to recover naturally." Kestrel said and nodded towards a cabinet across the way.

He could go get that in a moment. He was rather content to just lay here and continue relaxing himself for the time being.

Starlight's laughter finally died down, and she rolled onto her back, rubbing her belly as she burped more. "I'm hungry. do we have some food. I want food. I really like food." She said, her thoughts coming out as words. Stupid, stupid, STUPID! I bet he thinks of me as a wee filly now. I'm suppoooosed to sound like an adult. NOW how am I supposed to get a griff....wait wait wait...Wait what am I saying. I'm crazy. Someone call a doctor for me, I might've cracked my skull and smashed my brains. she thought aloud. Hearing herself say such things, she turned around and shoved her face into the bed, and curled up into a ball.

"I do." the gryphon said. His guest desired a bit more food and so he would provide. As was the custom of his kind. Funny his reputation among the gryphon's and ponies of the town was that of a monster in some ways. The big black gryph that came for you once you fell, shying you away to shadow until it was time to put you in the ground.

Yet here he was entertaining a guest. A rather silly and spontaneous one at that.

With a fluid motion the gryphon slid free from the bed and dressed. He was swift in this, giving no opportunity to admire his form. Almost as if he was hiding something. There was little time to dwell on this fact as the gryphon soon made his way downstairs and into the kitchen.

He was gone for a small while as he cooked up something for the both of them again. A glance upwards to the clock told him the time. Hmm, a quiet day. Gathering up the small meal he'd quickly cooked the gryphon returned to the room. As before he set the mares share on the bedside table nearest to her and he himself rested nearby partaking in his own meal.

Star stared hungrily at the food, and, stretching her mouth to a 90-degree angle, she dug into her food, slashing and devouring the food, making a jolly big mess all over herself. her pupils narrowed as she hungrily slurped the scraps all off herself in a most bestial manner. When she finished, her pupils expanded until they filled the sclera almost completely, and she burped in a most adorable manner. "E-xcuse me, sorry. I was er, hungry. Yeah..." And with that, she giggled and blushed.

The gryphon offered naught but a perked brow at the mares behavior. Once she was done he was beginning to consume his own meal. Unlike the mare on his bed the gryphon ate slowly and carefully. Savoring each bite and politely swallowing it a moment later.

Before he could finish his mind prickled with memory and he stood up once more, moving over to the cabinet in his room and taking out a vial. Smiling that same signature serene smile he offered it to the mare. "Drink. It will help soreness. I've something more, once it takes hold."

Star took hold of it with apprehension, unsure of any side effects. Do or die time, Eh? she thought to herself, and grinned with anxiety. "Well. Bottoms up!" And with that, she downed the rather pungent, bitter fluid, the taste reminding her of a certain blood flavor. With a slight shiver, she contracted her extremities in distaste as the substance flowed through her body to do its work. "Blech. Vile fluid, that is." she said in a disgusted tone

Vile though the drink tasted the mare would soon feel the soreness of her muscles starting to fade and instead be replaced by a warm, numb heat. It wasn't the best fix in the world. Moving still would cause a negative reaction but it was leaps and bounds better than what she had been feeling.

Assuming of course she didn't in fact enjoy that sort of sensation.

"Apologies." Kestrel said bowing his head for a moment. "Is not meant to taste good however."

Starlight felt the effects of the mixture immediately after she said those words, and felt rejuvenated completely. Standing up, she walked around in a circle, albeit, with a limp. "Heh. Well, seems your stuff works! Thanks for the patch, doc!" she said, giving Kestrel a kiss on his armored cheek. "So uh, yeah. If you ever want fun like that again, just give me a call babe, I'll always be close by." she said, winking at the gargantuan griffon.

The massive gryphon chuckled and offered but his signature serene smile. "Of course. Next time you come to walk among the bones tell first, yes?" the accented tone asked the massive creature turning and giving a bow of his head.

"Well, I guess I'll be off then, I'll always be among the bones for you~!" said Starlight, and trotted happily (With a limp), out the door, waving to Kestrel and blowing kisses as she left.
