Season 3 Discussion (Possible Spoilers)

Wait, season three is up? I thought we had another like, week and a half or soemthing?

I just finished watching the premiere. My god was that amazing. Return of Harmony is still my favorite of the big episodes, but I now have a very close second.

I feel they didn't make much of the mane six. They had walk-on parts, it seemed, with Twilight stealing the show. Which may have been the idea. The big plot points seem to point towards Twilight having some pretty big revelations this season.
And then of course, we have Cadence ex Machina again, which peeves me. Good news, she's a queen now, so hopefully that'll keep us out of our hair.
Lastly, why couldn't they make the crystal ponies Yorkshire? Or Scottish? I know there are limits, but that would've been great, no?

[Steel Strike]

Well where to begin! First the introduction of dark or corrupt magic, is insane. It opens a whole new world of possibilities. Also, I felt the same as Sten, however, Twi didn't exactly steal the show as he thinks. For once our young hero is Spike! Which in of itself is a great, if unexpected, lesson. Also I'd like to address somethings.

1) Ships are back and bigger then ever in this season. Check Applejacks Rarity comments, and Rarity holding Twi's hooves. It seems Hasbro teases us so. xD

2) I've already read the synopsis for the next episode, so I can't wait for some Pinkie Pie CD.

3) I am expecting lots of new things to happen this season, and many things will be Memified.

4) DAMNIT PRINCESSES! Theres some damned over arching plot, that involves Twi. It's going to irritate me to NO END on what the hell it is. Whatever it is, it must make Sombra look like a walk in the park. (As he was simply "A Test")
