Sinful Consequences (Closed) (Dated)
Nov 5, Year 4
Zweihander followed the mare out the door. Figuring the stallion could not have gone far, he glanced at the unicorn out of the corner of his eye. Getting a better look at her, he saw she had a darker blue colored coat, and burgundy hair. He couldn't help but notice her cutie mark was of a broken bow, for a stringed instrument; what had happened for such a mark to occur?Shaking his head, he looked around. An uneasy feeling had formed in his gut, and he had no clue where it came from. The multitude of mixed feelings that was streaming across his mind was horrific; he couldn't help but feel vulnerable. His wing twitched unconsciously. He felt so vulnerable without flight; never mind that the hole in his wing was beginning to ache for an unknown reason.
Giving a sigh, he continued walking. Maybe the unicorn would talk, maybe not.

The mare walked silently, even if the stallion had sprinted he couldn't have gone far, but he was far enough to be out of her fire support which meant he could be dead. Highly unlikely but not impossible. "Is it just me or did the whole atmosphere just change?" She asked in her usual none responsive tone.
"And how are we supposed to follow him if he stay out of our sight?" She shook her head and mumbled something about 'stallions' as they began their walk down the broken old street. She didn't know their destination, nor did she care, her goal was...
What was her goal, why was she following some stallion and taking care of a wounded griffon. When had her priorities gotten mixed up, switched from survive to support. It didn't take long for her to get lost in her thoughts, not only about her past before these two new being, but before that and why she hated the thing next to her.

Steel sighed. He heard Bow and the other two come out of the doorway. He was just down the hallway a little down the stairs. Why don't they get that I can take care of myself? he thought irritated. He had done without magc before, he certainly could do it again. He sighed, and decided if they wanted to risk their flanks to help him on his way, that was their problem. He just wanted to head home. Wait, no he didn't. He wanted to see Mega, and he decided that the best chance of that, was her workshop. He sighed and hoped he could find his way to her place. He wanted to just spend the night with her, like they did just that morning. He also wanted to make sure she was safe, after the rescue. He did make a promise after all.

Zweihander walked down the street, staying silent. He was very uneasy, and almost felt that some malevolent presence was following them; or that something monstrous and perverse had just gone on in the city. Zweihander put a claw on the mare's shoulders, to stop her. He felt incredibly uneasy, and he knew something was coming. Hopefully she would "listen" to him. She had done almost nothing but right by him, he had no reason to believe she would cease.
Turning his gaze upwards, he saw the sky had turned to black; it was about to rain. Atmospheric. Lovely.

His contact probably wasn't the best thing he could've done. Instinctive reaction to the claw, she had rolled away from him and unzipped the front of the case, pulling down the black fabric so she could shoot at... Not attacker. As she turned to look she was that the griffon wasn't even looking at her her let her eyebrow raise and re-zipped her freshly removed weapon.
"What are you scared of a little thunder?" She her same serious tone, making it sound like more then an honest question. "If that's so then we better hurry before the rain get's thick. I don't like fighting in the rain."

Steel heard the thunder. This caused him to move a bit quicker. He flew down the stairs and out the door. He quickly began trotting down the street. He didn't want to be caught in this rain before he met Megs. Might make his mane all poofy, and frizzy. He heard the other two moving and hoped they intended not to pursue.

Zweihander took several steps forward, and sniffed the air. Why...could he smell griffon-musk on the air? Snapping his eyes to the mare, he looked at her with complete emotion on his face. Just looking at him could tell you he was scared and nervous at the same time. His eyes were tiny, and his body language was subdued.

"Alright crazy bird, write to me, are you really scared of the thunder?" She asked, adjusting Epsen on her back slightly. She stared at him and carefully rested a hoof on his rump. After setting her gaze on him for a second she turned her attention to the storm. "You weren't this jumpy when staring down a high frequency symphonic burst laced with heated magic, but heavens forbid you see a grey cloud."

Steel believed if Zwei could talk the two would be bickering like a married couple. He continued on his way, trotting down the street. He could at least make it to Mega's with a bit of time. However, something felt...off. The impending storm changed the pressure around them for sure, but that wasn't it. Steel quickly trotted to the sidewalk. He felt being one of two unicorns in the main road might draw too much attention to him. From what he didn't want to catch the attention of, he was unsure.

Zweihander nearly jumped in surprise at the contact. Looking at the mare with concern, he began to write quickly, in halting manner. During the entire process of writing the note, he looked above and around thesky, almost as if he was expecting something to arrive. Even his tail was twitching frantically, almost in key with his movements.
Passing the note to the mare, it read as follows:
It isn't the storm; it's what the storm is hiding. I smell griffons nearby.

There was no change in her facial expression as she read over it, neither was there as she looked up to his nervous twitchy form, and finally there wasn't when she turned away form the note without touching it and trotted away from him out of 4th mane street. Her tail flicked as she vanished from view, but unlike before there was no noise, excluding the zipping on her viola case. Leaving him sitting there in the road alone.

Zweihander sighed, and sat down. He would see what these griffons were here about; hopefully they were here in peace. If not... he glanced at his wing. It would be rather difficult to escape without the air. Whatever the case may be, he was alone now; as he was before, and always would be.

Steel saw a familiar street name. He was only a few blocks from Mega. If he stayed hidden, he could be there in 10 to 15 minutes. He turned around in time to see the mare trot into an alley, while Zwei was left in the street, alone. Steel felt slightly concerned for his griffon...friend? He wasn't sure he could call him a friend. Acquaintance for sure. He sighed. Steel decided the griffon was injured, and he would need help if he was to escape this ominous feeling. He turned around and trotted back to Zwei. "Look, you should probably hide or something. I got a really bad feeling about that storm..." he said, to the griffon, and turned around, hoping he'd continue following him.

Further down the street, Kroll was slumped against the wall of an old building, disguised as a dead, homeless griffon. He hadn't moved for the past seven hours due to a controlled amount of venom he had injected into himself, but could still hear, see, and above all else, feel. This was the unfortunate matter, as pretending to be dead attracts two things: insects, and curious ponies who like to poke dead things with sharp sticks. As a result, Kroll was desperate that his target would come soon, as his temporary paralysis was beginning to quickly wear off.

Zweihander looked at the unicorn. Why had he decided to warn him about the storm, and come back? He didn't know. All Zweihander knew is that there were quite a few griffons nearby, and that if the unicorn stayed with him, he would be injured.
Glancing around, he saw very little in the way of danger, at least immediately. Some trash, a dead griffon laying on the wall of a building down the street, and the shattered remains of an old cart. The sky had only gotten more nasty, and a weak wind ruffled through Zweihander's feathers.
Shaking his head, Zweihander quickly picked up the note he had written for the mare, and dropped it in front of the stallion. Looking forwards, he began walking down the street at a brisk pace.

Steel read the note and began running after Zwei. He hoped he had an idea of where they were going. And he might be safer with a griffon...or in more trouble. Either way Steel didn't want to be alone and out in the open when whatever the griffons were planning began.

Zweihander walked down the street, preparing to meet however many griffons were nearby. His nagging sense of fear was silenced; for now. What he needed to focus on, was preparing himself for incoming violence. And the stallion who was following him was making his decision more solid. When it devolved to violence, Zweihander would insure the pony would be unharmed; it was the least he could do.
Moving past the dead body, Zweihander remained silent, thinking to himself.

Out of the corner of his eye, Kroll saw his target pass him by. His muscles tensed, his brain forcing them to stay in place to maintain the illusion of a dead body. Felkis was very clear on what to do: apprehend the griffon known as Zweihander by any means necessary. The commander even put him in command of a talon squad's-worth of griffons for the occasion, a luxury he planned to put to put to its full potential. What Felkis failed to tell him, on the other hand, was that the target wasn't alone, and was accompanied by two unicorns. This would not only make the capture more difficult, but could prove dangerous should he fail; assuming the two ponies with Zweihander were members of the Rebellion, Kroll shuddered to think what would happen if this former OGI member was to defect. Though he hated to consider it, there was no way around it: the griffon before him had to die.
Across the street in one of the higher floors of an old building, there was a brief flash of light as one of the squad's members gave Kroll the signal that they were in position. Pressing his tongue to the roof of his mouth, he made a sharp clicking sound that resonated up and down the street.
Within moments, the members of the talon squad made their presence known, and began to move towards the target and its companions from all sides, weapon's raised.

Steel heard the loud click, and saw the troops move in. He saw them enclose the two. The seemed wholly concerned with Zwei however. Steel's fight or flight instincts kicked in, and with no way to fight, he ran. He saw the group close in on Zwei, and felt bad. However, this feeling didn't stick too long. He knew that had he stayed he risked death himself, with no protection. He almost didn't make it, however, due to a griffon attempting to grab him. It wasn't deep, but it still stung. It was around his mid-section, and it was superficial. He continued his gallop away from the scene, expecting the griffon to continue the chase, but upon looking backwards was surprised to see about 10 griffons surround him. The griffon was as good as dead. You're sacrafice will not be forgotten. Zweihander. he thought and continued his trot to Mega's. He really wanted to get there to make sure she was safe now.

Re: Sinful Consequences (Closed) (Dated)
Zweihander remained unfazed at the eight griffons surrounding him. Staying on all fours, he eyed the soldiers. They were Guerillas... the crazy brutes of Feliks. That would mean this was official from up high itself, straight from Feliks beak. And if they were going after him, there was only one reason why:
Something had happened to the Prudentatae.
Glancing back at the apparently not dead griffon, Zweihander sighed. Only a few griffons made use of poisons and other toxins on themselves for an operation. And now that he looked at the griffons coloration, it was obvious who.
Kroll, he mercenary, who was expelled for killing superiors. One of the best ambushers and mercenaries for hire in Manehatten; but a bit of a maverick.
If Feliks was able to meet this griffons price, then Zweihander knew that it was unlikely he was going to be arrested. Thankfully the unicorn escaped; Zwei knew that they were focused on him, not the smith. Still, he was saddened to see his one ally in this leave.

As Kroll got to his feet, his joints crackled and popped audibly from lack of use from the last few hours of playing possum. He couldn't help but smile at how well the ambush had worked, but knew that all that work wouldn't mean a damn thing if he didn't bring this griffon in. With a smile that would put a crocodile to shame, Kroll approached Zweihander as the rest of his squad maintained kept their weapons raised.
"Making some new friends, are we, Mr. Zwiehander? A shame that they couldn't stick around..." Kroll paused to shake some insects from one of his wings. "Allow me to introduce myself: my name is Illiya Kuryakin. Commander Felkis tasked me with tracking you down and placing you under arrest. I couldn't fathom why the commander of the Guerillas could possibly want to arrest a member of the OGI, but after watching the hasty leave of your new friends, I have to logically assume that you were planning to defect to the Rebels, and defecting to the rebels, as you may know, Mr. Zweihander, is treason..." Kroll pauses again to give Zweihander a dangerous smile. "And I think we both know how the Guerillas deal with traitors, right?"
Kroll paused again. "On the other hand, I'm sure this is all just a big misunderstanding on our part, so how about this: you come with us quietly, and we can talk this out over a nice cup of tea. Sound reasonable?"

Zweihander narrowed his eyes. This mercenary was dangerous with suspected traitors; that was how it was rumored he lost his position. He very much doubted the truth behind Kroll's words. For if Feliks was involved, there was no "come peacefully". There was only "die quietly".
However, as Zweihander looked around, he could see he was in a very bad position. The eight griffons all had their weapons raised, and poised to intercept Zweihander if he tried to escape. The air was closed to him; his wing insured that little problem. His best bet would be to make a run for it, where the griffons were less concentrated.
There.
In his righte peripheral vision was a derelict alleyway, where only one, smaller guerilla was positioned. He would make his attempt there. First, he would need to insure they were off guard; pretending to come along quietly would insure that he would at least have the element of surprise. Kroll was used to having others obey; at least, that was the intelligence on him. Zweihander had no real proof that this was the case.
As he was looking around, Zweihander failed to notice a large raven looking down on the confrontation below.

Kroll nodded as Zweihander began to come towards him, motioning to the squad to keep a tight formation around the two of them. Something didn't feel right to him; the griffon's body language wasn't of somebody who got captured...no, it was the look of somebody who had an ace up their sleeve. He started looking at the surrounding buildings, scanning the area for anything suspicious. Aside from a raven of unusual size, there was nothing Kroll could see that would give his captive such a prideful air, and that bothered him.

Re: Sinful Consequences (Closed) (Dated)
At the very same moment Zweihander was moving forward towards his opponent, a newcomer was making his way down a nearby alleyway. He was a giant of a griffon, standing at a proud 6', and his form, what of it was exposed that is, revealed the beginning chords of honed, powerful muscle; captured beneath the scarred layer of skin.
The other features of the silent griffon were currently hidden beneath the threadbare embrace of a well weathered cloak; dyed a smooth dark grey. Naught but the cold stoic form of a bird shaped mask peaked out from beneath his hood, hiding beneath its reinforced and unfeeling form a signature serene smile that was far more unsettling than it was natural.
His movements were swift, focused, and silent; giving no-one any clue to his arrival on the scene. Like a shadow he rolled across the cold concrete and cobblestones of Manehatten, sharp gaze flickering from time to time to make note of a landmark or significant detail; committing them all to memory. A map slowly began to draw itself out as each new detail was added, and like a living creature it grew. Patrol routes, landmarks, street names, shops and taverns all blending into one single, detailed
The figure came to a stop for a moment, yet another patrol of his brethren scuttling across the street before him; to consumed by idle chatter of females and food to notice the Hunter that stood naught but a few feet away. He could have killed them. All it would have taken is a few steps forward, the drawing of his blades, and a few flicks of his powerful form to rend their throats open and then quickly dispose of their bodies. It would have taken perhaps hours or days then before they were discovered.
The Hunter was not foolish however, nor was he without mercy, and so without comment he let them pass before moving once again. Both none the wiser to the fact that their fates had just been held between the lethally honed talons of another of their kind.
Back with Kroll and Zwei the Raven on the roof had begun to move, fluffing its wings and appearing to preen itself for a moment before looking back down, flicking its head from left to right, so as to continue watching them with a strangely intelligent gleam in its eyes. It was as if the bird was...judging them both from on high; deciding their fates. Like it knew something was going on. Surely this was but an illusion caused by a stress filled mind however.
T'was only a Raven after all.

Zweihander walked towards the grey colored griffon, and defiantly stared in his eyes. He would not die insane, he would not die today. Flaring his wings defiantly, he quickly barreled towards the smaller griffon to his right, praying to any gods who could hear him to let his gambit work.
Overhead, Zweihander noticed a raven on the building, staring at him, before he made contact with the griffon.
What is that bird doing...?

Kroll heard one of his squadmate's squawk in surprise as Zweihander muscle through Oh, you've gotta be kidding me..., he thought as he watched the griffon make his escape. He motioned at the other members as he yanked his downed team mate to his feet. "Let's go! After him! After him!"
And with that, the chase began.
And with that, the chase began.

Succeeding in his gambit, Zweihander drove his body through the smaller guerilla, using his momentum to keep going through. The alleyway was tight and confined; if he made a mistake, he would most certainly die. Quickly turning a corner, he ignored the light throbbing of his left leg. He would need to tough it out, which was not hard. All he had to make sure was that he didn't slow down.
Jumping over a pile of trash, and turning another corner, he continued to run at break-neck pace.

As the chase began the raven seemed intent on staying where it was...at least at first. Showing yet again a strange sort of intelligence the bird waited the the others backs were to it, then it took off into the air, landing on a building nearby watching Zweihander leap over a trash can and turn another corner.
The bird waited yet again for Kroll and his group to move past then it took off again. This time however the bird did not move to cut the group off, no. No this time it flew away, back to its master; The Hunter. Landing on the massive griffons cloaked shoulder the bird began to quietly caw and bark at him. The Hunter turned his head slowly, as if listening, then nodded. The Bird took flight moving up and flying high in the air, searching for the two it had been watching; following from on high now, guiding its master.
Just as before he kept to the shadows, and moved without a sound. ducking into alleyways and passing by a few homeless ponies as he did, each sleeping soundly as they could on the cold cobblestone and concrete of the city they called home. They never even knew what had ghosted past.
The Hunter had his Quarry now, it was only a matter of time before he found them.

Kroll was fuming silently as he pursued Zwiehander, letting his rage be the fuel for his muscles to keep up the chase. He ordered four of his squad to take to the rooftops, hoping that they could get a better view of where his target was headed. Though this chase through the alleys wasn't expected, it was welcomed wholeheartedly by Kroll; nothing's fun if it always goes your way.

She exhaled slowly, watching the ground. And when the crazy griffon began to approach the old dead one, she pulled back the string. Even as he did more crazy things and jump past him set sat silently, nothing more then the gentle quiet hum of her string. She watched as they vanished from her view, but she was able to guess their speed. Just like she predicted they came out of the other side and into view. The old dead one shouted something and they flew up. After a slowly inhale, she let the burning string go.
The string which would've easily burned her hooves were fine against the now slightly warm horseshoes that coated the bottom of her hooves. They weren't there for looks after all. The one odd string that ran across the rest of them seemed to push the low droning hot note away, forcing it off of it's string. Once it flew it was obvious it was Much faster then any other arrow or crossbow bolt, just a single note carrying magical bolt flying like the wind didn't exist.
It hummed through the air and the only griffons to notice was on one that watched it go into his eye and out the back of his head then promptly through an old air conditioner, and into the concrete roof of the building. The Griffon could do nothing more then open his mouth before he collapsed in a fleshy heap 'causing the one next to him to turn towards her direction.

Mega hummed her usual tune while on her way back to her workshop. She had helped save a family of zebras and two other innocent ponies, she was a happy mare. An ear twitched as the sounds of activity reached it, causing the pegasus to turn around. She knew it would be best for her to get back into her workshop as quickly as she could, it was dangerous above ground and Suture was probably worrying about her as well.
Curiosity soon got the better of her and she slowly turned to trot down one of the other tight alleyways. Getting to the end of the path just in time to see a familiar griffon approaching at a fast pace, she gabbed something out of her bag; a flashbang, the only defense she had left on her after the events of that morning. Lighting the fuse, the remained silent.
A new sight caught her eyes next, causing the mare to drop her bomb and letting it roll not to far away: a pack of griffons was chasing their ally, the one she knew as Mikael.
The fuse of her fallen bomb was long enough to allow Mikael to pass, but would easily alert the others of her presence. The shock of the sight causing her to freeze in place and forget about the burning fuse.

Re: Sinful Consequences (Closed) (Dated)
The Hunter had just entered another alley when he heard the tell-tale scuffle of talons above him. Ah, so he was getting closer after all. Looking up the Hunter judged the distance to the roof, and upon finding it within reason, expanded his wings, powerful muscles flexing as he quietly propelled himself upwards. With but a slight clack of his talons on the rooftop Kestrel grabbed the ledge and was secured in his new position.
A quick glance above the edge gave the Hunter the position of his Quarry. His prey was facing away from him, to the the west of Kestrels position. With a practiced ease that only comes from years of experience the Hunter began to move, shimmying soundlessly along the edge as he moved around to position himself below the unsuspecting guard. Reaching back under his cloak the Hunter pulled out a blade of some sort.
It was long, curved, bending over the griffons hand like the fangs of some wicked beast. The Hunter knew them as Ulaks, and in his talons they were a terrifyingly efficient means of ending the lives of his prey.
The guard would never know what hit him.
Reaching up, The Hunter brought the weapon swinging in from the the side. The sharp fang would find purchase right below the guards lower jaw, digging deep into the soft, blood rich flesh of the others throat. A wet gurgle spurted from the guards throat, surprise and pain causing the guards pupils to shrink to pinpoints. His surprise, and life, ended quickly however. The Hunter pulled down, flexing his form smoothly as he pulled the griffon guard off the roof. A quick pull would then free the Ulak with a fluid grace, the fang-like blade now coated in a thin layer of precious crimson vitae; the body of the guard would fall down and crash into a dumpster.
Satisfied with his work the Hunter sheathed his weapon and dropped down, flapping his wings but once to soften the landing. Moving swiftly the Hunter closed the lid on the dumpster so as to conceal the body and any other evidence of his kill. Muttering a silent prayer the Hunter began to move once more. He could hear more talons along the stone nearby. More guards? Or perhaps his True Quarry was drawing near?
The Hunter would find out soon enough.

Freyia raced through the air. She had been held back by the guards questioning her about the OGI. They kept her for hours, constantly accusing her of being an asset. She did not give in, and they eventually had to let her go. Now she raced across Manehatten, just under the cloud line.
Zweihander had to be found, she had to warn him. The more she thought on it, the more she realized; she had to save him. Odds are the Tsars soldiers would already have found him. They would say that if he came quietly he would not come to harm, but she knew better. After what she had recently been through, she knew that Zwei was not supposed to live.
Her mind also went to Shady as she raced across the sky. She knew she was on a mission, but had no idea what kind. All Freyia could do was hope she was safe, and that they would see each other again soon.
I need to save him. Her wings strained to speed up. her shoulder still ached from the fight at the execution. That lucky unicorn hit. She would not be distracted again. She would find Zweihander, and she would protect him.

Re: Sinful Consequences (Closed) (Dated)
Kroll was chasing after Zweihander when he felt something whistle past him. He didn't think anything of it until he heard a thud, and turned around to see the body of one of his squadmates. Hoping to avoid a similar fate for the rest of the griffons under his command, he yells at them to go further into the alleyway. The guerillas jump and bumble around slightly, but hastily make it further into the alleyways, out of the line of fire.
Swearing under his breath, Kroll hurredly grabs ahold of the dead griffon's body, slinging it over one shoulder before running into the alleyway to catch up with his squad. He saw a glint of something on one of the higher floors of a building across the street on the way in, but didn't stick around to figure out what it was. Once they regrouped, they resumed their pursuit, the setback putting their target way ahead of them.
As he rounded another bend in the alleyway with his squad, Kroll saw a gray pegasus standing in the middle of the road. He could see something smoking at her feet, but he couldn't tell what it was until it was too late. The alleyway was suddenly filled with a blinding flash of disorienting light, causing the griffons to stagger into each other and collapse into a heap.
Kroll was the first to get to his feet, his vision and hearing still impaired. All the same, he begins screaming orders at the griffons, commanding them to fall back into a nearby building, and to wait for him on the second floor. The guerillas jolt in terror, scrambling into the closest building, taking the body of their downed comrade inside with them.
After watching them leave he turns his gaze unto the pegasus, approaching it slowly until he loomed over her, his feathers bristling with barely-restrained fury. She has to know, he thought. There's now way that was coincidental; she must be helping him escape. With a swift motion, Kroll grabbed the pegasus by the mane, and proceeded to smash her head into the brick wall of the alleyway until she fell unconscious. Once she went limp, he put an old sack from nearby over her head before slinging her over one shoulder. With that, he vanished into the dilapidated building, slamming the door behind him.
He wanted answers, and for the sake of his new prisoner, he'd better get them.

Mega watched as the griffons approached her, ears folding back against her head as she took a step back. Before she could react, the flashbang by her had gone off, disorienting her just as much as it had done to the griffons. The next thing she knew, a claw had a hold on her mane, red bricks filling her view. She released a few scared screams before falling silent as her head was bashed into the hard stone multiple times.
Her vision blurred as the world around her slowly faded to darkness.

Kroll stormed into the second floor of the building, setting the pegasus down on the floor. He turns to a griffon handing him a list. "find a chair and tie her to it. Put her in a room overlooking the balcony. After that, get me the things on this list. We're on a clock. Chop-chop." The griffon nods, carrying her off to a room down the hall.
He turns the remainder of his squad, rubbing his forehead in irritation before randomly pointing two of them "I want you two standing watch near the door. Don't go outside unless you want to end up like your friend. Do I make myself clear?" The soldiers nod frantically "Very good. Now get out." Kroll watches the two guerilla soldiers bumble out of his way, sighing again before turning to face the remaining member."You. Give me a sitrep. Now." The soldier, obviously surprised by the sudden bequeathal of responsibility, tries to stammer out a response. "W..we-we're all present and accounted for sir...well, except for the r-rooftop sc-scouts you sent out ahead..."
The soldier is inadvertently saved by other soldier, returning from his brief errand run. "Sir, the room's all set up, just as you asked..."
"Very good. You and your friend go do weapons maintainence. Scout for viable escape points in this building should shit go sideways." With that, Kroll headed down the hall, planning out his next course of action.
He opened the door and looked into the room, smiling. The room was completely barren, except for the pegasus strapped to the chair. Behind her is three windows that overlook the alleyway, and next to the chair is a rusty bucket filled with water. He yanks the sack off the pegasus' head with a magicians flourish as he watches her come to, tapping her cheek slightly to help speed up the process. "Rise and shine, meatblanket."

Mega mumbled something inaudible as she was awoken by the griffon, unable to see much more than a blurred bird-like outline without her glasses that had fallen off back in the alley when she was attacked. She took a moment to try and gather her thoughts, her head throbbing.
"W-wha...Where am I?!" She suddenly asked in a scared panic, trying to move but held in place by the straps keeping her on the chair.
Falling silent once more, she simply sat there, staring at the eyes of the unknown griffon in front of her.

Mega's ears twitched as she listened to the question. Zweihander? She thought to herself. She hadn't ever heard a name like that before in her life. Why would she know a griffon other than that one that attacker her anyway?
"I haven't ever met a griffon who goes by that name. I'm sorry." She replied simply.

What little of Kroll's patience was beginning to thin away. "Do not lie to me, Equestrian. You helped him escape. Just now. In the alleyways." He leaned in close, drumming his talons against the side of her throat. "I am not in a mood for rounds about the mulberry bush. I advise that you tell me the truth."

That was the last straw. Kroll brings the back of his claw across Megabyte's face, screaming into her ear. "Do not lie to me! You deployed a flashbang to hinder us while he made his escape!" He lowers his voice to a murderous growl "Where is he headed."

Mega's head was jerked to the side by the back-handed slap she received, holding it in its place for a moment. Slowly turning her head back to its position with her pupils shrunk further, she did something that anyone else in her position wouldn't ever do. She giggled.
"That was just a reflex. With griffons trying to eat you around every corner, you learn to defend yourself. It's not my fault somegriffon got away from you." She replied, most hints of nervousness already missing from her voice.

Kroll raises his claw again, looking like she's about to shred her face clean off. He suddenly lowers it, and walks around her, looking out the window. He could see where this was going to go, and he wanted to get it over and done with. Who knows what kind of secrets Zweihander could possibly be peddling to his new allies in the Rebellion. He turns his head to look at her. "How long have you lived here?"
