Dawn looked down trying to avoid eye contact but the griffion was right over her breathing down her sweaty neck but her spirit was strong enough to not look at the griffon directly in face .Instead she glaced over to her bloody shoulder with the bolt stuck in the middle she then asked the griffon " Are you the one that shot me?"

Kroll looks at the bolt jutting out of the pegaus' shoulder. He prods it upwards with a talon. "Wasn't and easy shot, considering your armor..not to mention how fast you were going, too..." he trails off, letting the bolt return to its original position in Dawn's shoulder. "But I believe I had asked you a question first, Equestrian. Who are you?"

Double grinned as he saw the determination in the pegasus's eyes flare up. She was waiting for him to make the first move yet again. That wasn't an issue. Despite it being rude to take the first move when he offered it, right now he didn't really have to them to spare what with the injured unicorn. Looking at the metal pole she now held in her teeth, Double shrugged slightly, at least now she was armed. Didn't make him feel as bad for fighting her now. Nor did the fact she now had something really frighten him all that much. In fact...
Galloping toward her, the rebel stopped the moment he was in range, keeping his blades ahead of him so she would have to pass by them before getting to him. He could still feel the strain on his mind as he continued to use magic but he still ignored it. He would care about it later, once everyone was safe. Starting the fight once again, the Double Edge slashed at the injured portions of his foe, especially that of her knee. As his barrage of slashes and stabs commenced once more, Double put another portion of his mind, focusing quick bursts of levitation magic on the pipe in her mouth, pulling and pushing it, to get new openings on the pegasus with his blades.

Dawn felt a surge of pain come from her shoulder as kroll purposely moved the bolt upward letting her blood drip out creating little puddles of red by her hooves when the griffon let the bolt fall back into place the wound stinged but the pain faded. The griffon brought up that the shot was difficult to make and then asked they same question from before..what her name was "Yes ..it was difficult shot ..for you " she looked the griffon staight in the eye this time "Look I have an injured friend over there who really need medical attention and.. if that shot was so difficult maybe you should stop worrying about my name and practice your sniping skills" she said with a smug smile.

Kroll's gaze travels to Harks' unconscious form, taking interest in the unicorn's many injuries. "Yes...your friend does seem a little worse for wear...how did she acquire such injuries, exactly?"

Freyia smiled as her adrenaline filled her nerves with numbness. She waited for him to get in range. Right as he began to stop and stike, she reacted. As the unicorn pulled at the pipe she immediately let it go, and using her wings she pulled her front body up, and swung her forelegs up and out, letting the weapons contact her body. She moved forward while doing this, getting right up to the unicorn. As this happened she moved forward and swung her legs down and around the weapons, locking them under her powerful grip as they dug into her the flesh of her body. Keeping her momentum, she brought her head down onto the Unicorn, now being right in front of him; her forehead aimed right for the base of his horn.
The weapons dug deep as more blood mixed with the wet, half frozen coat, but the white pegasus did not feel any pain. She griped those weapons like a vice and would not let them go. She was only a foot from him when she grabbed his weapons and made her attack. With any luck, this might daze him enough for her to get away.

Kroll's expression soured as he brought his face even closer to Dawn's. "My patience is beginning to wear thin, Equestrian. Your friend is not going to survive for much longer in her current condition, and your unwillingness to cooperate is only slimming her chances of survival even further. So I'm willing to ask one more time before I start using claws instead of words: why were you running, and how did your friend acquire her injuries?"

Double's vision went into a blur, his mind fuzzy, as the pegasus's head connected with his, he felt all the magic focusing into the focal point that was his horn immediately dissipate, losing his telekinetic grip on his swords. Backing off the unicorn shook his head trying to clear his head and vision. He hated having to have to use a horn as a focal point. It was much too vulnerable to be effective, especially in his style of fighting.
Opening squinting at the pegasus he swore under his breath, she was completely surrounded his two short swords. Reaching out for them with his spell, the unicorn felt the gathering energy in his horn, much slower than normal. Stupid horn.

Yes!
Thank the gods it worked, she dropped both weapons and took to the sky. The drizzling rain now stung against her open wounds as she flew for the ally exit. As she reached it, the pain of her injuries finally broke through her wall of adrenalin. Seezing her wings, she began to fall.
No!!!!
Using what little energy she could muster she turned a corner and crashed against a pile of rubble. Her vision began to tunnel and blur, and her muscles refused to move.
Not like this!!!
As she moved to get up, a piece of metal which stuck into her side shifted. The immeasurable pain shot through her body as she let out a scream. It echoed through the alleys and buildings, where ponies gathered in the windows to see the wounded mare.
Try as she might, she could not bring herself to move. A few deep breaths, and one more try...
...another painful scream rang through the alleys.

Re: While the Iron's Hot [Private ask first] (Dated)
A loud piercing scream knocked Double Edge right into his senses. Looking to the armored pegasus, Doubles eyes went wide as he saw her, a piece of metal imbedded into her. "Shit shit shit!" the rebel cursed as he ran toward the pegasus. Her screaming was beginning to draw attention from surrounding ponies, hopefully it wouldn't bring in griffons.
Looking over the pegasus's body he tried to figure out what to do. First things first he had to get rid of the metal that was sticking in her side. But at this angle he couldn't do anything. He needed to shift her, turn her over he needed a clear sight on what injury. Grabbing his last roll of gauze, the unicorn looked over the unicorn just one last time before letting out a sigh. It was now or never.
"Alright, pegasus, calm down for a moment. I need you to calm down so I can try and help you. " Feeling the continued build up of magic in his horn, the charcoal unicorn began to wrap an aura around the pegasus, as the pressure in his head growing into pain. That hit might have been harder than he had originally imagined. "This...is gonna hurt, I'm sorry but again we gotta get you off that right now!" Focusing, he began to lift the pegasus, slowly and carefully.

Dawn laughed a little at the stupidity of the griffon question "well ..if you were a smart griffbut maybe you would realize the answer in the question" she then talked slower as if to make sure the griffon understood her "I'm..running to save.. my injured friend...do you understand ..or is that to much for your little birdbrain to handle?"

Kroll's face broke into a smile that would put a crocodile to shame as he let out a sarcastic, toneless laugh at his captive's insult. "Ha ha ha." He started to lean even closer to Dawn's face, his laugh increasing in volume, but still retaining it's emotionless tone. "HA HA HA." He proceeded to grab onto the bolt lodged in the pegasus' shoulder, twisting it clockwise while shifting it counter-clockwise in a stiff, firm manner. At that point, Kroll's beak is mere centimeters away from Dawn's ear, and his was voice now loud as possible as he continued his strange, emotionless laugh.
" HA HA HA HA HA HA. "
Suddenly, a scream echoed down the alleyway, causing Kroll's brief moment of cruelty to come to a slow, painful stop. He looked up from the troublesome pegasus, frowning. He grabbed onto the bolt again, about to resume his bout of violence when another scream pierced the air. He got up this time, looking to the direction from where the scream had come from.
Kroll paused for a moment, between his two captives and the source of the scream, as if which would pay off more in the long run. Sighing and shaking his head, Kroll loaded two new bolts in his crossbow and walked away from Dawn and her injured accomplice without another word, off to find the source of the screaming he heard.

Freyia took a piece of stone and swung it at the Unicorns head. Her eyes filled with furry. She was fed up with these ponies, all of them; first they want to kill her, then they want to help her. She made sure the stone would disrupt his magic and knock him back. "Get away," she did not want his help. Tot take the help of an enemy is to admit defeat, and the only way she will be defeated here is if she is dead...
...and for once, she didn't want that.

The stone struck Double Edge's horn, sending a shot of pain throughout his body, as once again he felt the magic that had built up in it dissipate immediately. "Will you please Stop that! I'm trying to help you! We need to get whatever it is out of you before it the injury gets infected!" Grabbing at her hoof, the unicorn tried to hold the mare's arm to her side, so she couldn't continue struggling. Man he wished he knew some kinda spell that could calm her down. Not like it would matter what with her trying to smash his horn! "Please Ms. Pegasus you've lost a lot of blood! I need to bandage them up!"

Re: While the Iron's Hot [Private ask first] (Dated)
Once more, Hark experienced a painful awakening. Screams of pain rung in her ears, sounding like the voice of her foe, the pegasus. She smiled slightly, her dying body still wracked with pain. She watched as a griffon walked away from the body of a blue pegasus, who's armor was stained in blood, who's shoulder bore a crossbow's bolt. She thought of moving to help her, and as she extended her hoof and moved her head to get up, she began to cough.. right into the street. Even more blood was added into the pool forming below her, as she realized the extreme chance of her dying. She would not let that happen.
"P-pegasus," she called, in the loudest voice she could muster. "I... I need help..." Before she could say more, she began to cough again. Still clinging to consciousness, she refused to die this easily.

Dawn was relieved after the burning painfull feeling stoped when the griffon stoped twisting the bolt that was still in her shoulder to turn his attention to screams in the distance.Dawn was tired and in pain her entire left arm had streams of blood flow down to edge of her hoof a lot of it was on her armor as well.As she watched the griffon to see if he would leave to see where the screaming was coming from her attention was turned to critically injured hark who was talking to her ..asking for help
Atleast that what she thought hark said nevertheless she had to do something. With the griffon distracted dawn decided to go get hark and escape to go find help for both of them and she did just that.. trying to limp past the griffon to go aid the unicorn moving as quietly as she could ..hoping she wouldn't get caught in the act.

Kroll had lost his interest in the screams as they ceased, and had turned around to see the pegasus moving toward its injured accomplice. He shook his head, bitterly amused by the sad sight before him. At an almost leisurely pace, he walked up to the limping pegasus, and delivered a sharp kick to its side, knocking her off balance.
With swift motion, Kroll follows through with the attack, pinning his knee on the overturned pegasus' chest, finishing by planting the blade of some kind of bone-tomahawk into the ground so that the handle goes across Dawn's neck. He leans down, smiling in a sick, almost condescending way. "Oh...don't think I've forgotten about you, Equestrian."

As dawn tired to get to hark the griffon turned back around and sure enough she was discovered and got a kicked to her side sending her body to the ground again. She closed her eyes and almost showed tears from the pain of the aftermath of the kick clutching her side but the griffon forcefully turned dawn on her back and slammed a boned tomahawk into the ground with the handle across dawn neck. The griffon put a knee to her chest push on causing more pain and firmly holding the handle so that it would be impossible to get up dawn started coughing rapidly from the handle slowly chocking her she looked up to try and find weak spot but she only found the griffon devilish smile.
Dawn struggled to get free but everytime she tryed the griffon would put more presure on her.She finally stoped struggling and assumed this was the end of her story and closed her eyes and waited for her last breath to leave her but for some reason she looked over to hark who was incredibly injured but still alive she then realized that this was not the end ..it wasn't even close to ..she looked back up to find a weakness for the griffon that she could use as her advantage.Dawn noticed that his stomach was pretty close to her right arm ..this made her think but with the handle chocking her there was no time to think ..but there was time to act using the what stenghth she had she wound up and punched the griffon stomach as hard as she could.

Kroll's eyes widened as Dawn's hoof connected with his stomach, knocking the wind out of him. He keeled over to the side, his grip on the tomahawk loosening considerably. He gurgles something as he lies on his back, trying to get air back in his lungs.

Freyia used what strength she could muster to push the Unicorn away, "NO," she yelled as she made a motion to get up, immediately stopped by the pain. Another scream filled the alleys. Grinding her teeth, she bore through her next attempt, ignoring as much of the pain as she could to stand up. About 2" of metal sticking out from between her armor pieces, blood steadily dripping off of it. She took her usual defensive stance, only this time, her face showed anger, determination, and pain.
"I don't need you...any of you." She took deep breaths every few words. "You surprise me, attack dishonorably, and then expect me to take your help? O'how you ponies have fallen." Her face twitched with each pulse of her nerves, each beat of her heart. For once she didn't know what she would do if he attack...but she was ready for anything.
She focused her tunneling vision on him, denying herself to fall unconscious. She could hold out, but for how long?

"I'm dishonorable?" Double glared stumbling back at the pegasus's attempt to push him. "Never did I target your back, nor any other vital areas." Stepping forward to his foe once again, "I don't know where you got this illusion of 'easing one's passing' as being honorable. Its nothing more than a sorry excuse you've given yourself to simply execute those who could get medical attention. Not only that but being a traitor to your own kind, siding with those that have tried to kill and rape this nation." Feeling the energy begin to flow back into his horn, the unicorn glared at pegasus.
"You say that ponies have fallen? Well then sister, I say, you must enjoy your position down here, cause whatever 'facade' you've decided to put up for yourself, here's a little message from reality. YOU'RE A PONY TOO just like that unicorn, just like me, just like all the others that try and survive in this wasteland of a city each and everyday. So welcome to the gutters, I'll be your guide Double Edge." Feeling enough of a charge in his horn the rebel gave a burst of levitation magic at his nearest blade, sliding it over to him. Gripping it with his hoof, as he pointed it at the pegasus, "Or of course you could simply with for your passing to be 'eased'" Double Edge spat, venom in every syllable.

Re: While the Iron's Hot [Private ask first] (Dated)
Freyia laughed a little before coughing a bit of blood up, "You talk of me like you know me, like you know anything. Unicorn, you know nothing, about me, nor about battle. Your a fool, an ignorant fool. Like most of the ponies nowadays. Because you lost to us evenly, because you can't face the truth that the battle is already over, that we've won, you choose instead to fight, even when we spared your lives. That other Unicorn, I gave her a chance to back down. I turned to face you, and yet she still resisted. She choose instead to disrespect me and attack while my back was turned. A metaphor for your entire kingdom. We have spared your lives, I suggest you learn from your friend and stop. Otherwise, well, they won't be as respectful as I was while you lay in a pool of your own blood regretting every decision to challenge me."
Her speech started out calm, slowly building in emotion and volume, untill by the end she yelled. It was strange, Freyia hadn't put herself in the same pronouns as the griffons for a few years. Yet now, after what has been happening, she was sure of it; these ponies were nothing like her. They would call her kin, but her kin died on the battle field.
In an instant, her face changed, her breathing slowed, and it seemed as if the blood from her body was flowing slower. Her stance went back to its perfect form. On her face, no sign of pain anywhere. No, she was not of Equestria...
"I am Freyia, hunter of the Mikill Borkr, soldier of the Griffon Kingdoms. You'd best stand down PONY, or I will make you." Her eyes fixed on him. She was ready, nothing would be held back this time. If he were to charge, she would kill him.

Re: While the Iron's Hot [Private ask first] (Dated)
"Well looks like I finally got a name out of you, Freyia, hunter of the Mikill, meal of the griffons." Double gave a mocking bow to the pegasus, "While I thank you for your compliment, seems I've gotten under your skin as it were. Hehehe, and you can say that the battle is over, if that makes you sleep better at night, then go right ahead. Although I can hardly say my actions are like that of my countries. Last I checked those of your kingdom have always been able to live here before the war, welcomed here and accepted, but I don't know guess my personal experiences are hazy, as are the memories of my friends. Despite that, pointing hooves at the situation, just seems...deeming...to a mare such as yourself, besides, all my decisions, are of my own. None of which I foresee myself ever regretting. Even if it does cause me to die. Really death isn't a concern of mine."
Feeling the magic in his horn build once more, the unicorn sent another burst of levitation magic at his other blade, the second skittering across the wet alleyway to the pegasus's hooves. "Also, last I checked, I've never followed a griffon loyalist's orders before, honestly, why should I start now?" Grinning at pegasus, he eyed the piece of metal digging into the pegasus, before returning his gaze to the pegasus again. "You can stand there all you want, Freyia, I could do it all day, you however? Well we'll just have to see. I guess. Regardless of what she wanted, the piece of metal was going to come out. Infection was no way to see an opponent taken from the field of battle.

"You can stand there all you want, Freyia, I could do it all day, you however? Well we'll just have to see. I guess. Regardless of what she wanted, the piece of metal was going to come out. Infection was no way to see an opponent taken from the field of battle.

Re: While the Iron's Hot [Private ask first] (Dated)
Hark watched the pegasus fight a losing battle. She then began to stand, pain echoed in her front left foreleg as well as her chest, both bruised and broken by blows from her foe. She wore a grimace as she began to limp toward the fray, her horn glowing brighter and brighter as a spell began to take form, a simple ball of ice forming at the tip of her horn. It was small, but super-dense, tightly packed elemental ice. More spider-web cracks began to form along the old ones in her horn, and it threatened to implode, or worse, explode. Hark didn't care, she didn't mind the pain; all she cared about was getting out alive, so she could beat that pegasus, the one of griffon origin. The one she had not beaten yet.
Warm blood began to trickle down her left foreleg again, as some of the ice in the wound began to melt. Hark was now rather close to the griffon, her ice-ball about the size of a baseball. Then, she pointed her horn toward the griffon, the ball above it... and she exploded the ball. Shards of ice flew outward with a blast of pure elemental ice in their tow, to riddle the griffon's body with ice, and then to freeze him solid. Enough for her and the pegasus to make an escape. Weakness no longer existed on her face; she was now standing for the thrill of the fight, for her own personal desire to win.

Kroll felt a sharp pain rocket through his back as he begins to freeze over. He collapsed to one knee, keeping an arm out stretched as ice continued to coat his body, sapping his body of its heat. Kroll's breathing has become relatively shallow and shaky. With most of his body encased in a sheet of ice, he can hardly move.
To say the least, he was shocked; the unicorn seemed to have made an inconceivable recovery from her injuries, and had decided to turn him into a...a...Krollsicle. Kroll would have laughed at his little joke if he wasn't in such a dire situation, but on the upshot, the unicorn seemed to only be focused on helping her accomplice escape, so there was that to be thankful for.

Freyia smiled again, "All of you are so ignorant," she whispered shaking her head. She lifted one hoof on the side of the weapon coming for her and slammed it down on it. The force made a loud crash as metal hit stone. Her strength was not 100%, but it was still formidable. Small cracks in the stone revealed just how much she could still produce. She kept her hoof down on the weapon.
"So ignorant. And for your sake, I hope we don't meet again. If we do...I will kill you." With that she took to the skies, wounds and all. She flew straight up in hopes to at least get on a roof top. She made it over to a billboard on top of a roof, sort of crashing landing onto its platform to take a breather. It was then she saw the other pegasus and unicorn and...Kroll? It would seem that Unicorn was killing Kroll as his body froze.
"No," was about all she could do at this time. Watching in horror, she tried her best to get enough strength to move again. That last batch was just about all she had in her. "Kroll," she whispered before grimacing at her wounds.

Double chuckled as he watched the pegasus fly away. "So gloomy all the time. Really try lightening up a little, go and find someone. Until next time Freyia Griffon Meal." As she disappeared, he heard the distant sound of crashing metal. Walking up the blade he had offered, he noticed a slight bend in it. As unfortunate as that was. It really wasn't too much of a set back. He'd have to find a smith, besides he had another at home. There was a reason he had three crossed swords as his cutie mark. Only point he didn't carry around the third was because it made things a little more difficult to hide in the open...thing was a naging feeling started to make him that he wouldn't be worrying about that kind of thing soon. Then there was...that one, but in all honesty he didn't want to resort to using that for as long as possible. Sliding the two short swords into their sheaths, before running back through the alleyway, sliding to a stop as he exited. "Shit. Dawn!"
the scene before him wasn't one that Double wanted to see, Dawn was on the ground bolts protruding out of her shoulders, a pool of blood forming around her, while the unicorn was somehow on her feet once again, then...a griffon semi encased in ice. As much as he wanted to simply end this griffon of their life, another stronger feeling was nagging at rebel. The unicorn had started to bleed once more and now with Dawn wounded. This made things that much more dire. Double needed to get the both of them to a clinic and fast. At this point Mercy's was too far...That left Winter's. As much as he didn't want to have those that were defiant treated above ground, the fact of the matter was he had no choice now.
Closing the distance between himself and the trio, Double rested hoof on the unicorn's shoulder. "Please, you don't need to fight anymore." turning, the rebel glared at the encased griffon. "You have someone nearby that needs help. I recommend you leave and find them soon. For their sake."

Re: While the Iron's Hot [Private ask first] (Dated)
Hark hardly felt the hoof on her shoulder and hardly heard the words of the other unicorn; she was far too busy trying to remain standing. It was all in vain, however, as she promptly fell to the ground, with the typical dull 'thud' associated with one's impact with the ground. Her vision was tunneling as blood began to further leak from her shoulder wound. The ice had almost completely melted (it was a weak spell, anyway), and she projected the griffon's ice wouldn't last long either.
Almost immediately, she began to feel an intense pain in her horn and head, due to her overuse of magic and cracked horn... and use of magic with cracked horn. She was, at this point, running an extreme risk of her horn exploding; if she cast any more, her horn would break and thus explode soon after. She gritted her teeth as her face contorted in pain- she finally could go no longer.
"D-damn it... Where did she go," Hark asked in as much of a voice she could muster through her gritted teeth, refusing to show her pain. She wanted that pegasus dead; she could have cared less about the griffon. For now, however, she was constrained to merely asking.

Kroll had lost most of the feeling in his back and right side to the cold, but the scene unfolding before him was enough to keep the blood in his tightening veins boiling. Kroll could feel the ice beginning to thaw, especially the ice on his arm and legs. He looked up to see another unicorn arrive to the aid of the other two. Great. As the unicorn began it's brief diatribe, Kroll noticed that his crossbow was a little further down the alley way, giving him an idea.
With a burst of strength, Kroll launched himself from his crouched position towards his crossbow, ending his leap in a forward roll. He could feel the ice on his back fracture as he exited his roll, but it wasn't enough to completely free him of it.
Spinning around and taking a defensive stance, Kroll raised his crossbow, aiming it at the black unicorn.

Double's adrenaline began to pump as he saw the unicorn next to him collapse, followed shortly after by the griffon bursting out of his ice encasement grabbing a nearby crossbow, pointing it at him. Adrenaline began to pump into his vains, trying to counteract the stress of the entire situation as well as his concern for the two fallen ponies. "There must be some kind of stupid, that is only bred in your bird brains! You don't need that crossbow, cause had I wanted to fight you, or attack you at all I would have done so when you were nice and bound in that block of ice! I'm only here to help these two in need!" Double glared, taking a step closer to the griffon, "Not only that but there is someone up there," Double pointed to the roof where he had heard the crash. "that also needs help. I can't get to them but you have wings, I suspect you can."
Moving back to the unicorn by his side, Double slipped himself underneath her, hoisting her up onto his back. "Now if you'll please excuse me. Those two are in need of medical attention. The third is up there for you."

Kroll glared at the unicorn as it stepped towards him, continuing it's reprimand. He pressed his crossbow into the unicorn's face so that the two bolts were hovering away from the base of its horn. As he stood there, his eyes boring into his adversary's, as if searching for something that would let him pull the trigger.
After for what seemed like an eternity, Kroll swiftly lowered his crossbow, folding the lathe shut. He walked around the unicorn, never breaking eye-contact as he reached down to wrench his tomahawk out of the ground.
Without another word, Kroll took off into the sky, towards the rooftop that the unicorn had pointed to.

Dawn strenghth began to fail on her she only move a little bit from what little strenghth and energy she had left inside of her.Laying on the cold ground in a puddle of her own blood being as injured as she was it mite of been for the best if she just stayed still and let double who was right next her try to help but being the stubborn war veietran she was dawn tried to push herself to standing position.Struggling back to her hooves dawn felt nothing but sharp surges of pain throughout her body like knifes stabing from in side her body but she finaly got herself to stand in a crippled looking way she tried taking a few steps but colapased to the ground she felt dizzy and lightheaded her vision and her surounding began to fade and blur out veiw but by her will power she got self back to her own two hooves once again dawn then decided to test her luck by trying to run instead of running but when she did she lost balanced and took a hard hit to the ground. Now everything started to disappear in front of her and wondered if she will see the next sunrise.

Double Edge released the breath he had unknowingly been holding. As the griffon flew off. Being that close to death was something he was certainly going to be needing to get used to what with everything he had planned for this city. The sudden sound of metal hitting stone knocked Double out of his train of thought, turning he saw Dawn struggling to her hooves, before crashing once again to the ground. With the other unicorn on his back already, the rebel moved his way toward his fallen comrade. "Don't worry Dawn, I'll get you somewhere safe." He had very little left in the way of magic. His head was already throbbing, and what with the two strikes to his horn, it certainly wasn't flowing as smoothly as it should. Despite this, he needed to get this unicorn and Dawn to some form of clinic, and fast. Undermarket was too far from here, and path there wasn't nearly sanitary enough for those with open wounds. No he had to get somewhere...Opening his eyes, Double turned to the West, the Residence there, there was a clinic there, or so the rumors went. Some unicorn worked there...Winter or something like that. more importantly it would be much closer, much more sanitary.
Focusing as much magic he could muster, the rebel tried with every ounce of effort to lift his wounded friend, getting her a couple of inches off the ground. Sweat soon quickly followed as it poured down his face, his head feeling like it was slowly being crushed between two slabs of stone. Giving a grunt as he took the first step, the rebel felt the pressure on his mind spike before going back to its original agonizing state, another step, another spike. "D...Don't worry guys...I'll get us there...I promise..." Double gritted as he continued. He wouldn't let these two die!

Freyia watched as Kroll took to the sky. "Good," she sighed relief. This whole event was more than she bargained for when she helped Zweihander. She leaned back against the faded billboard, breathing heavily as the tunneling vision came back. It was then that she realized two things: one, that this was the perfect opportunity to say the ponies helped Zwei escape, and despite her best efforts he got away, and two, that she needed to train...a lot more. Since the war ended she has become weaker in this soft land. She decided that once she is able, she will train everyday. Nothing will ever beat her again.
The world slowly turned black as Kroll approached. She tried to keep herself there, but her strength was all but gone. Time to sleep.

As Kroll touched down on the roof, he realized that the unicorn wasn't lying. He quickly moved to Freyia's unconscious body, spreading out his wings to shield her from the rain as he tried to asses her injuries. She was in bad shape, but she was still breathing, so at least there was that.
Kroll had salvaged all eight IFAKs that his deceased squadmates had, and proceeded to use them one at a time on the injured pegasus. As he worked to get Freyia ambulatory, Kroll tried to piece together what had happened so far:
After Freyia took Zweihander into custody, she was ambushed by the three rebels from earlier, which would explain the gray one's injuries. Zweihander escaped, the fighting continued, and so it went from there.
After patching up Freyia's major injuries, Kroll looked down the side of the building. It wouldn't be easy getting Freyia down with her unconscious. He shook her gently, not wanting to cause any further pain.
"Freyia...Freyia! Come on now, rise and shine; we need to get you outta here."

Now lying upon the other unicorn's back, Hark noticed her vision tunneling once more. Not being too much of a surprise, she merely watched with a tired, beaten expression as the other unicorn attempted to lift the pegasus via telekinesis. It seemed to cause him pain, from what Hark observed. She let out a heavy sigh, her own horn coming to life now, with an ethereal teal light as a nimbus of arcane energies enveloped the pegasus. The pain that came with it was unsurprising; however, Hark still kept doing it for whatever reason.
"Just... keep going. Go fast," were the words that came from her muzzle as she strained to keep the pegasus aloft in her magic. Her breathing was heavy, and slow. Right now, she feared unconsciousness, and it was getting damn close to her. All she needed to do.. was stay awake, for the sake of the pegasus.

Freyia felt and heard the griffon try and wake her. Using what endurance she could muster, she pulled herself back into the conscious world. "Wha? Kroll, glad to see you okay." With that she her eyes closed again and her head fell limp. She could still sense him, but trying to keep herself alert was proving too much for the wounded pegasus

Kroll sighs with palpable relief, glad to see Freyia is not as in bad a shape as he anticipated. "Good, good...okay, I need you to stay awake, alright? I'm going to get us off this roof, but I need your help..." He readies a rope, attaching one end to a support of the billboard, while tossing the other end down the building.
He clips onto the rope with a carabiner on his armor before going back over to Freyia, gently rolling her onto her back and clipping her to his carabiner. Kroll crouches low over Freyia, prodding her lightly again. "Okay, I need you to hang onto me, alright? Like a tight bear hug. Can you manage that?"

Double Edge turned back as he felt the stress on his mind ease up a little. Taking yet another step and receiving another shot of pain, albiet a little less painful than the last, the rebel tried to speak up. "Y....You need...to....rest....I'll get...y-you guys there....don't...you worry!" Trying to pick up the pace Double's head felt like it was about to split in two. He couldn't stop though, he refused to stop. Even if it damaged him permanently he would get to Winter's clinic.

Re: While the Iron's Hot [Private ask first] (Dated)
Hark's breathing was much, much faster, as she neared unconsciousness at an ever-increasing rate. Her heart beat faster, as her shoulder wound let blood exit her body at a terrifying rate. Her chances of survival at this point were very low as she barely clung to consciousness, feelings of anxiety dominating her mind. She wanted survival above all else, but she knew that she was doomed.
Her magic around the pegasus was sustained as the other unicorn picked up pace. He tried to tell Hark to stop, to rest... she did not listen. Nary a thing could stop Hark from helping the pegasus (and by extension, her self) to safety. The pain in her horn was still incredible, but pain and injury were two different things. Sure, it hurt to do it, but would pain stop her? No. Only a severe injury could stop her... but it was all too likely one could occur with such use of magic.

Freyia made an unintelligible affirmative moan as she rolled over to grab him better. She gripped as hard as she could, about the same strength of a child. This would have to be enough she thought as she prepared for whatever it was he was going to do. Focusing herself, she made sure to remain conscious of things around her, at least until he could handle the rest on his own.

Kroll wrapped his arm around Freyia as his stood up, making sure she wouldn't slip off. He walks walks to edge of the roof, grabbing the rope with his free claw. After leaning back to make sure the rope would hold the both of them, Kroll began to rappel down the side of the building.
After touching down on the ground below, Kroll unhooks himself and Freyia from rope, moving her over his shoulders to a fireman carry position. "Okay...we're good. Now let's get you out of here." With a slight shift to make his load easier on his back, Kroll sets off, making the long trip back to Griffon Headquarters.
