A Mugging of a Mare

[Quicksilver]

((Continues from the events ofthis, when Quicksilver leaves.))
Quicksilver flew about the city, his eyes darting back and forth as he searched for anything he could rob for currency. He stayed to himself, though, ignoring any hubs of activity and groups of people.
After several minutes, by which point he'd started becoming anxious to find the money in time, he finally saw what he was hoping for; an earth pony ducking into an alley.
The Pegasus dove in, landing just quietly enough to not attract the attention of passers-by, and took from his bag his axe.

[Red Shirt]

Core Attribute, the Earth Pony mare, headed into the alley, seeking out the bar her friends had told her to meet them at. She'd dressed up just a little, and it was her night to pay for drinks.
"I hate that system," she muttered just before the sound of something landing caught her ear. Turning around, she was slightly pleased to see a pegasus rather than a griffon, at least until she saw him hold up a weapon.

[Quicksilver]

Quicksilver glared at the mare, trying to encourage fear; it was quite helpful for the process of mugging a pony, after all. "You there. Mare. Give me whatever bits you have."

[Red Shirt]

Core, after a moment, glared right back. "Oh, sure, 'cause you have an axe. That makes me so helpless, as if you knew how to use that properly. Weapons take training, you know."
At this, the threatened mare charged straight at her offender.

[Quicksilver]

Quicksilver reacted to this automatically by swinging the axe, angled so that it would be the flat side rather than the edge which would hit her.

Core was hit on the side of her head, and stumbled to the side. Her head rang and felt consumed with pain, and her attempts to get up again to fight were in vain.

[Quicksilver]

Quicksilver approached the mare, and quickly found her pouch of money. While checking it to remove anything that would give away its origin, any tags or the like, he commented, "I could tell you just why I need this money, or the many reasons why it was stupid to charge me. But, I have limited time."
Quicksilver looked about, and seeing a piece of metal, he swung his axe at it to produce a ring and loud clattering noise, just before flying away. With any luck, somepony would investigate and find the mare, but for now, he just had to focus on getting the money back to the guards.
