Lab 18, you had each heard rumors about this place, horrors, of ponies and griffons entering never to be seen again. But there are just stories, nothing you can't handle after all you're braver, smarter, and much more cunning than any of those other stupid creatures whatever secrets lie in wait inside this lab. You're bound to find it. You know it.

Entering into the desolated building, wasn't necessarily difficult, most of the griffons that resided in Manehatten didn't care about this building, and those that did simply believed that no creature was stupid enough to go in what with the stories. As the last of you enter, the doors leading outside, slide shut as ceiling lights up above try their hardest to light up. Most flicker before dying out, but the third that remain slowly build in strength, giving you all a clear view of the room.

Upon first glance all that you really see is a main lobby. In front of you seems to be an old greeting desk. On top you still see a sign in book that does not seem to have aged well over the past decades. Beyond the desk however you see a set of double doors. From the windows imbedded into them you see more soft lights grow in intensity.

Off to the side, there are a pair of vending machines, one looks to still have power while the other next to it is dead and appears to have been for awhile.

Hans etered the building he heard so much rumors about. he had made himself a small inventory of stuff to have food and medical stuff in case he will be in here a bit longer. The door was open and he was able to just walk in. it was quite dark, the lights were out, but with his Diamond dog eyes he still was able to see everything. He stood in a kind of lobby, where people seemed to be allowed to regist to some tests. "Well, this does not really looks creepy...or something" He said looking around.

So here she was.
This is the mysterious laboratory, Ala thought. The one with those ghost and horror stories.
She looked at her companions. She had smiled as she had seen that even a diamond dog was in on it. She'd never seen a diamond dog before.
She smiled at them and followed the diamond dog who set the first step into this long abandoned lab and found herself standing in a dark room before the lights began slowly and almost hesistantly to shine, awakening from a long, long sleep.
She was standing in the former entry hall, most like.
She looked around and a strange feeling came over her. She wasn't able to phrase it. Something between a light anxiety and expectations. Something... adventureous.
"Maybe not creepy", she said as the diamond dog - his name was Hans, she believed - has spoken. "But still amazing."
She turned to look at the others, spending an encouraging smile.

Ferdinand ignited his oil lamp as he walked inside with the vault hunters. At least he thought that they ones and weren't here just for the adrenalin kick. "Maybe that stupid Diamond Dog is here just for some action." Ferdinand though and chuckled inwardly. He just hoped that the stupidity of his group won't be his death and let out a slight sigh. Ferdinand didn't like it, if he needed help from others, but in this situation it would be the best. He heard couple of rumors about this laboratory and most of them were about demons, but he was pretty sure that their brains tricked them and they just saw things, which weren't there. This wouldn't happen to him and his superior mind.
He extinguished his oil lamp as he looked around the entrance hall. "We won't needs this right now." he said and put the oil lamp back into his bag."Indeed amazing. It especially amazes me what kind of things are left from the glorious times as this was a place for the smartest brains in Equestria."

There was the slightest creaking sound as a small feathered head appeared from behind the reception desk to focus its eyes on the old book in front of it. Haphazardly flipping through the old tome in front of him, he just lightly looked over them not pay much attention to it's content. He looked over to the others that he had followed into the lab as he turned his short attention to his own things.

"OH come on," he said in a light tone. "There shouldn't be anything to worry about. After all, I'm a ghost hunter." Abel just punctuated this statement with a cheeky smile as he vaulted over the desk and to the group, himself ready to run around another place he wasn't supposed to be in.

As you continue to search the room, Abel catching a few names such as Becker, Bunsen, Goggles, Atom, and Catalyst, there comes a sound from beyond the double doors behind the reception desk. The sound itself seems to be very close, if not right up against the door. "I'm a ghost hunter I'm a ghost hunter," it playfully mocks, the voice resembling that of Abel's but much more muffled and wavering in tone, all of a sudden however the tone of the voice changes, now mimcing that of Ferdinand's. "We won't need this."

As quickly as it arrived, the voice fades away, the muffled sound of hooves slowly growing more distant beyond the door.

Dusk has always roamed past this building while she was working this interested her but she never went in to check it out but she wasn't the only one not only did stories about mysterious things that happen inside reach places in manehatten it was to long until they reached her underground home but it also reached the head changeling as well ..aka the queen..within minutes all the changeling in the hive were told not to investigate.But Dusk was no drone ..she was specialized in reconnaissance and spying she came back home from more dangerous things than a quick search of an abandon building but thats what the queen said.However this interest her even more than ever before during the night she went against the ban and headed torwards the building location.

When Dusk reached the abandon facility she honestly felt excited but that changed when she saw the team of griffons walk in to the doors ..this made the situation more difficult and dangerous but she know the rate of how other species love changelings was at a all time low and how if she went in she would mostlikly be killed but Dusk was to excited to see what was inside so she followed.

Dusk entered the facility behind the others but technically speaking it wasn't her at all instead of a buglike creature stepping inside a tall dark brown griffoness came entered in her place.Dusk didn't say much if not anything she just moved in to the group studing each one with great interest.

Dusk in the form she had chosen to become part team was working to her surprise actualy working ad she felt more comfortable with her surroundings she started to talk and get aquatinted with the others as well as move around more.She moved up to the dusty old table that would be know as the front dusk and looked through the book "What's this..?"she said while she was looking through the book when she was doing this a voice startled her and almost made her lose control of her griffoness form.Dusk attention turned to the double door where the voice was coming from but just as soon as it was heard it was gone she looked around at the others "wha..what in Equestria was that ?" she asked trying to get a answer from the rest of her team mates because despite all the operation she has done ..this was the weirdest .

Hans found himself in a group with 4 griffons. He doesn´t cared about the griffon occupation in equestria much, so he didn´t cared if his team would be just griffons and himself. As one griffon asked he simply said "Its just an echo." Hans was looking at all his group'members'. "well if i count right, i see 4 griffons around here..... i hope this will be enough to fight those 'ghosts' in here." He took a few steps to the door "i think no one of you has a problem with me going at the front of the group right?" he asked, while already opening the door with his axe ready.

As everygriffon has entered she turned again towards the desk to see this young griffon there. Quite young, he seemed to be. Ala was one short moment worried but then swallowed the streak of worry and started towards him with a smile on her face as the echoe-like voice resounded. She froze where she was.
Now, that was interesting.
She found the griffoness's question appropriate though she couldn't remember where she came from. However, now there were more important matters.
"An echoe?", she repeated Hans's words.
"I'm not sure. And speaking of mysteries: who switched the lights on and who closed the doors?"
Ala wasn't one to believe some tales without evidence. But she also didn't close her eyes on them - this would have been stupidity. Everything was possible, she knew.

Ferdinand tried to open the door in which they entered the building through and sighed as he failed. "It seems this facility is automated and we triggered a protocol as we entered it." He turned back to the group. "Maybe it's part of the protocol to play echoes to mentaly break us." Ferdinand makes a short pause, considering other possibilities. "Or maybe some of their creatures still live here." A weak smirk appeard on his face. He couldn't even imagine what kind of creatures live here. He absolutely needed to catch one of them. Dead or alive.
Ferdinand looked over to Hans as he tried to open the door. "I have no problem with you being at front." he said and added. "But don't touch anything before I gave you the permission for it. I don't want that you contaminate any possible samples with your dirty diamond dog paws."

Pushing through the double doors, you find yourselves in a hallway up in front. Hans, stepping in some kind of puddle as the rest of you continue to file in.

To your immediate left, you see a small water fountain next to a staircase descending downwards. The hallway continues onward. How long it goes you do not know. Along the ground however you see three colored stripes, red, blue, and green. Within these stripes you notices they each have writing in them. Red: Offices, Blue: Cafeteria, and Green: Labs. The red and blue lines themselves each move forward into the dimly lite corridor, while the green line banks to the left descending down the staircase.

From the hallway before you, you hear the muffled sounds of hooves reach your ears, as you see the tail end of a shadow disappear.

Hans ignored the puddle, he didn´t expected it clean in an abonden laboratory. He looked to the colored lines on the floor. In the offices he just expected boring paper stuff so it wasn´t an option for him. The cafeteria also sounded boring, but the labs could contain some interesting and maybe precious things. " I would say we walk to the labs, they seem the most interresting." He said to the group. "You can follow me, or stay here, but i´ll go there." He said making a few steps into the direction of the green line, then stopped to see who would follow him.

Ferdinand didn't notice the shadow disappearing at the end of the hallway. His eyes were focused on the green line and he stared down the stairs. He had an odd feeling. Something between scared and curious. He really didn't like the darkness down there. It's unnatural for griffons to be in dark rooms, but gladly he had his oil lamp with him. "I'm right behind you, dog." he said and put the handle of his oil lamp into his beak. Ferdinand just hoped they won't be down there too long. His lamp had oil for just few hours.

As Ala stepped through the doors she looked straight forward. She saw the shadows. A feeling spread inside her. Excitement and a sweet anxiety. Her heart beat faster.
It took her a moment until she realized that the others were already moving along. Quickly she followed, only now realizing that her talons were slick wet.
"Hey, do you know what we just walked into?", she asked the others in her usual light tone. Nothing of the feelings of just a few seconds before were audible.

Abel was busy already mapping out the little portions of the lab that they knew about on his maps. Though, even with the carefully detailed map being drawn out with much care, the young griffon still couldn't resist to draw little faces and other cartoon-y things that contrasted with their current setting.

Shoving the things in his satchel with reckless abandon, he snapped his wings and propelled himself over the others with an equal amount of enthusiasm, sending him flying in front of them and into the darkness ahead of them just a tiny bit.

"Aaadveeeentuuuureeeeee..!"

As you head down stairs you eventually come to the bottom as the green line ends at a new hallway, a sign hanging up above you indicates that you have indeed reached the labs. Before you, you see four sets of windows and doors. Within the nearest two, you see tables, with long abandoned equipment laying upon it. However, one of the sets of windows is shattered, glass littering the floor, the door partnered to this window, broken off its hinge.

As the hallway continues you see a shadowy form in front of you. It appears small but is standing stock still as it notices your approach.

However for Ala and Hans, the parts of your body that have gotten wet begin to itch uncontrollably as hair that made contact with the substance begins to sizzle away.

As Ferdinad and his group reached the end of the staircase he quickly scanned the booths in fron of him. He looked for interesting medical equipment in them , but Ferdinand couldn't see much in the darkness. He stopped at the booth with the shattered glass as he noticed a dark shadow couple meters away from them. A slight chill went through his body as he noticed that the shadow stood still and probably looked at them.
Ferdinand took his oil lamp into his claw and looked to his group. "Did you see that?" he asked. He wanted to make sure it wasn't just a hallucination caused by some toxins.

Hans looked down at his feet as they started to hurt. he started to jump up and down "Ouch ouch ouch" he said while trying to get rid of the liquid on his feet. "someone please help me get rid of those liquid, its start to feel bad..." He said while he sat down at a dry place on the floor to avoid any skin contact with something on his feet.

[Void]

Ala looked curiously around. When she heard Hans she blinked shortly, then looked down at her talons. Suddenly they began to itch and she flinched a bit. "Aw. What is that?" She flew some inches upwards and shake her talons.
And then she also saw the figure standing motionless further down the hallway.
"Yes", she said. "I see it."

Abel, however, occupied himself with the sights that the rooms held instead of the shadowed figure that crept just out of sight as he turned to face the rest in his group. Lightly poking and the handle of the door for some childish inane reason as to check if it was boobytrapped, he opened it lightly and peaked through the door into the room again, map and quill already in talons as he mapped out everything he saw.

As the lantern drew closer, its glow exposed the creature in the shadows. The creature looked like some mix between that of a reptile and insect. You could clearly see that the creature was covered in a sturdy looking carapace between leathery skin and muscles flexed. Its jagged jaws opened as the creature hissed threateningly, as parts of its carapace opened up as three tendrils erupted from the body before arcing back like that of a scorpion's tail ready to strike. On the tip of the tendrils you could see what looked like razor barbs ready to tear into anything that got close.

While Abel opened up the nearest door, he found himself in a lab of some kind. lab equipment and paper lay strewn across the floor broken and crumbled. Before you have the chance to actually step into the room, you hear a very similar sound, hissing, as two more of the creatures appear between the tables of the room, a third hopping onto the table. Nine tendrils spring up as they prepare to strike.

There was a more displeased look upon Abel's features as he made a footnote on his map which read: 'Lab area. Big nono.' Then smiling meekly and slowly closing the door, the young griffon turned to the others and took a step away from the door and closer to them as his previous look of enthusiasm and energy slowly seeped away and became something more of a fearful look.

"Maybe we should not be here guys..?" Abel said taking a moment to stuff his things back into his bag and pull out his bow to nock an arrow.

Ferdinand made a step backwards, but he couldn't surpress a grin. He really wanted one of those creatures for his studies, but looking at those tendrils he probably won't catch one of it alive. If he couldn't catch one of those creatures, Ferdinand needed the equipment at least, which created those things. They just couldn't be natural or at least he didn't see one of those things in his life before.

Ferdinand made a step torwards Hans and talked in a lowered voice. "You're the one with the big weapon. I think you should 'negotiate' with them."

After a short time the itching on his feet stopped and hans looked up, to those creepy bugs. He readied his axe. "well i guess i have to be the pest controll today." He stepped towards one of the bugs, to see their reaction. "Come on, show me your skills" He screamed.
