[Pike Vanguard]

Pike cleared his throat at the dimming light. Sensing his rude interruption he tried to relate to Prism in order to keep the constructive dialogue going. "Prism, I lost family too but I'm too young to give up on gaining something from this world. I don't lack a soul like you might think." He thought for a moment, the last nail ready to be driven in. "A pony without a purpose is in more danger than one with something to lose. I'd rather live comfortably than fight against something that will--" He hammered in the nail definitively, "Ultimately destroy me."

[Prism]

Prism mood didn't really change "It has already done that too me once and I pulled out of it. Its just those moments when you find yourself thinking it again and they hit you harder then you think."

It had been some time since Prism had revisited theses thoughts as he would normally just bury them deep down.

[Pike Vanguard]

Setting down the hammer and lifting the table onto its four legs, Pike gave a grunt. He leaned on the table to give it a stability test. He gave an approving nod to his work.

Pike turned to Prism. "Well, take my advice and find some time for yourself. You came in here almost looking for a fight, something I make a note to stay away from. I think actually enjoying yourself once in a while will be a good thing." The earth pony sat on the table for both comfort and testing purposes. "Don't get me wrong, I'm not one for leisure, but my business keeps me occupied. It takes my mind off of things."

[Prism]

Prism let out a shy "There is a lot to still be done around here before I can try and enjoy myself but I know it will keep me busy"

He through back to himself walking in here and how he was now. Pike had just chosen the wrong things to say and that had made him think about things. He could get mad at him but he was just too sad he needed to be alone for a bit and be with this thoughts. He had to get it out of his system and there was no way he would do it in front of Pike.

"Well you are done now, So I best be going. Just remember I will be watching you so don't do anything stupid" His voice was no where near its threatening level it was when he first come in. It hardly had any force behind it.

[Pike Vanguard]

Pike put on his business smile and waved from his bed. "It was good talking to you, Prism. If you need my services you know where to find me." He hunkered down on the sheets and lay back. He didn't see any reason to usher Prism out of his tiny home. "Good luck with your work with the rebellion. They're lucky to have a stalwart officer such as yourself!"

He meant these words, but still retained an element of disagreement. Prism was certainly experienced but stubborn. Pike's only real advice for his type was to learn how to bend. Other than that, he felt confident that the unicorn will come back as a client sometime soon.

[Prism]

Prism headed for the door not saying much but before leaving he said " See you Pike." then he walked out of the door.

He made his way quickly to the shack that he had put together it was out of the way of the way of most things. He walking in and laid on what he had been using as a bed.

He then did something he hadn't done for a long time and that was cry. He did it quietly so that any close by wouldn't hear. He cried for the loss of his parents, but he mostly cried for the loss of his partner and their unborn foal.

[Pike Vanguard]

With Prism out of his office, Pike took the moment to relax on his cot. He gave a heavy sigh. "One of these days, Pike. One of these days you are going to meet another pony and not piss them off something fierce." He couldn't seem to sleep though, as his mind kept turning back to his memories of the war. Minutes must have passed of him just reminiscing. Frowning, he got up and poured himself some more lukewarm tea.

[Wiste]

Wist walked down the sewer tunnels, bouncing with excitement. Who knows? Maybe some fun would be had down here, and she was aching for something to ease the pain in her soul. She saw a small shack and basically walked right in, beaming at the unhappy unicorn within.

[Prism]

Prism was quietly crying to himself, when somepony burst right into his shack. This took him by surprise and if he wasn't wearing his armour he was share he would have jump right up onto his hoofs.

"What the hell you doing in here!" he shouted at the mare as fresh tears rolled down his face. He didn't have time to try and get to his feet for the moment he was stuck on the floor.

[Wiste]

Wist looked at the angry pony still lying there on the somewhat grimy floor and grinned. She was about to reply when she noticed the salty tears flowing down his cheeks and the smile died, to be replaced with concern.

"Hey there, sexy, whats wrong?"

[Prism]

Prism slowly got to his feet it did take a little bit of time, but there was no way he was going to stay on the floor.

He looked at the yellow mare that was standing in door way of his shack it was hard to make out any detail as the light was very bad and his eye was red and puffy from his crying.

He was not happy with this pony just waking into what was his home uninvited even if he could hear concern in her voice. "What gives you the right to walk into other ponies homes" as he wipe away what was left of the tears.

[Wiste]

Wist walked forward, not really listening to his angry outburst. She nosed his flank, drawing his deep, musky scent into her experienced nostrils and sighing lightly. She backed up and looked deep into his eyes, smiling a little smile.

"What do you have to cry about, sweetie? You're a strong, handsome stallion. C'mon, cheer up for Wisty!"

[Prism]

If it was any other time Prism would of taken the complement but this mare had walking in on a private moment and wasn't getting the hint to leave so the complement on severed to make Prism more angry.

"That is none of your business" He snapped at the mare "Now get out before I throw you out" he said in an angry noise. He didn't want to hurt this pony but would force her out of the door if he had too.

[Wiste]

Wist cocked her head to one side, gazing quizzically at him. It seemed that he was angry now, which confused her to no end. But, as usual, when she got confused, she decided to implement her second favorite thing in the world: fun.

"Hey, now, I just have a little gamble, scarred colt. If you can hide from me for the rest of the night, I'll leave you alone and never bother you again. However, if I catch you, we'll have a little fun together, maybe with a couple of others. Sound fun?" She laughed and crouched playfully on the ground, her tail waving in the air like a cat ready to pounce.

[Prism]

Prism just started at her with his one eye. "I have no intentions of hiding nor am I in the mood to have some fun with anypony, maybe you should go play with someone else."

He was starting to question what this mare was up to. It couldn't be save just walking into others house like this, she was up to something and he was sure it was not the fun he was thinking of.

[Wiste]

Wist growled playfully and pounced on him "Gotcha!"

[Prism]

Prism saw the pounce coming, he knew he could easily teleport out of the way but had a feeling she would come looking for him and would get no sleep tonight. So he catch her in his forehooves.

They was face to face Prism could see the playful look in her eye " Look if your just after a save place to sleep you can stay but if you are just going to play games you can leave," Prism was trying to work out why she would be doing this, it didn't look like she was out to hurt him.

[Wiste]

Wist giggled, delighted with the swift catch. She batted at his face and shrugged.

"I'm not trying to sleep, just looking for a good time. You're crying like a little bitch, so I figured you could use some cheering up. So, c'mon, lets go break into a bank and steal some pencils or something! I wanna have some high-speed chases, a fight or two, maybe a prison rape scene. That would fun!"

[Prism]

Prism looked very confused with what this pony had just said and he was starting to think she may have taken a few to many blows to the head or was just a few sandwiches short of a picnic and maybe he should get her to a doctor.

"Everything ok with you?" as he held onto the shrugging mare. "Just relax a moment and we can talk" If he can at lest get her to sit down would make things easier.

[Wiste]

Wisteria shrugged and went limp, dangling in the strong stallion's arms.

[Prism]

Prism was not sure what to make of this. He lowed her to the ground then check to make sure she was still alive.

"Do you need to see a doctor or something?" He was starting to think he was dealing with a foal more then a mare.

[Wiste]

Suddenly, Wist surged against him, bowling him over. She ended up straddling his hips and laying on his chest, her head right next to his, a devilish grin on her suddenly quite evil face. She nibbled his ear and licked the side of his face sloppily.

"So, are we gonna have some fun," she whispered, "Or shall we just do a little horizontal dancing and see what comes up?"

[Prism]

Prism should of guessed it was just a trick. He had it admit to himself it was nice to feel somepony nibbing his ear but this was not invited or wanted.

"Right I think play time is over, you can leave or I can make you the choose is yours," he as his horn started to glow.

[Wiste]

Wist's horn started to glow as well, enveloping his own in a deep purple glow. Her own magic seemed to vibrate slightly, and a warm pleasure spread down his horn.

"Well, if you don't want me here, can you at least direct me to someone else, someone who might actually want to have some fun."

[Prism]

A pleasant sensation started to wash through Prisms body and the idea of staying and just enjoying the mares company pop into his mind for a moment but he pushed it out of his mind just as quick as it enter it.

"Can't help you there, not been here long to get to know anyone," He did think about sending her to Pike but he was not very sure what this mare would do once she had, had her fun.

[Wiste]

Wist sat up with a pout, crossing her arms and sulking. It wasn't fair. She accidentally overnaps one time, and not only did she miss the group of ponies heading into the sewers, but now all these stupid hobos are trying to sleep and rain on her parade. Man, some days, it just seemed like the Goddesses wanted nothing more than to fuck with her, and not in the good way.

She sighed and got off of the persnickety stallion. "Ok, fine. Whatever. I guess I'll just leave, then." She scowled moodily.

[Prism]

Prism stopped his spell, happy that he didn't have to drop into Pikes office with his teleport. He got off of his back and back onto his hoofs.

"Look maybe if you don't go jumping somepony as soon as you barge into their home maybe you will get what you want," Prism held out a hoof "Look I am Prism as long as you don't start trying to play your games you can stay for a bit" He didn't want to be mean clearly something was up with this pony and he wasn't going to just throw her out with out at lest trying to help.

[Wiste]

Wist shook her head.

"I'm not tired, Prism. I just want something to do. I originally came down here to sneak into this Resistance thing I've been hearing about. Go in, cause some chaos, get out and watch it burn, y'know? But the guys I was following earlier left without me, so now I'm really annoyed. And now my wound is acting up, so I really need something to release some tension." She glared at him. "But, it seems that you're just an old prude, so I guess I'll have to look elsewhere"

[Prism]

Her command about watching the resistance burn did worry him a lot but he hide it well. He had to find out more about this was she working with the griffon's and who was those others.

"Maybe I am an old prude, but having someone throw themselves at me is not my idea of fun. If you are going to go then at lest let me have a look at that wound I have some medic training maybe I can help."
He wasn't to tell her it was battle field medic training but that didn't matter too much if he could kep her here and find a bit more about the things she said.

[Wiste]

Wist blushed bright red, looking very cute for a few seconds. She leaned over and whispered to him exactly what her wound was and more importantly where it was.

[Prism]

Prism looked stunned "Errr... well that would be a bit pass my training, but I know what magical wounds are like" he said tapping the eye that was covered up. He felt really sorry for this mare and was looking at her in a whole different light.

"You have to find a safer way then as just walking into some ponies home, it could get you killed if its the wrong one" looking concerned.

[Wiste]

Wist smiled ruefully.

"But that colt in the green clothes told me that ponies walk into each other's houses all the time. He said I could smash your pots and open any chest I wanted, and it would be alright."

[Prism]

"Well I don't know who that colt was, but I wouldn't listen to anything he said" Prism had no idea who this colt was but if he saw him he would be having words.

"I have to ask why do you want to attack the rebels?" he saw that he wasn't going to keep her here for much longer so may as well be direct with her.

[Wiste]

Wisteria shrugs.

"It would be fun. Everypony here is so stiff and serious. They should just have a day where both sides stop whining like foals and have a big old party to relieve stress. Griffons and zebra and buffalo and ponies and changelings, all getting down and drinking and eating and having a good romp. It would do y'all a load of good. And at least you don't have to worry about anypony raiding you while this happens!"

[Prism]

He shanked his head "I don't think the griffon's are the sort to share like that but I hope one day we can do something like that," Prism through to himself for a moment "But that would still be a good idea to still do down here would raise ponies hopes a bit down here" 

He looked up to Wisteria and smiled as he realised he talked more to himself then to her.

[Wiste]

Wist smiled back and leaned in to kiss him soundly on the lips.

"I'd love to set something up with those ponies. If you can get me in, I'd show them a night they'd never forget." She laughed, a light, tinkling noise, like a tiny fork dropping.

[Prism]

Prism did return the kiss it was nice better then it being forced on she was a sweet mare now that he was talking to her and not fighting her off.

"Well would take some time to sort out but if I get to the point where we can do one then I will be sure to come and find you to help out"

[Wiste]

Wist smiled and giggled.

"You need some sleep. Do you know any other ponies around here that might want to share a bed with me?"

[Prism]

Prism shakes his head "No, this is my first night down here so I don't really know any pony yet so can't say anyone" He was going to say she could stay here but she was looking for other things and that wasn't something Prism was looking for.

"Well if you don't find anywhere to stay you can sleep in here, its better then just sleeping anywhere."

[Wiste]

Wist shrugged. She was used to sleeping in a place much worse than here.

"Nah, I'll be fine. I think I'll just go out looking for trouble, kay? Night!" She turned and left the shack just as suddenly as she came, wandering off in a random direction.

[Prism]

Prism watch her leave. "Stay safe," he called out as she left the shack.

There was not much more for Prism to do other then get settled down into what he was calling a bed going over what had just happened. He soon worked out he never got the mares name, he would have to see if he ran into her again at some point and make sure he got it next time.

[Wiste]

In due time, partially from luck and partially from the lingering scent of tea, Wist stumbled on Pike's little shelter. In true Wist fashion, she barged in, sighted her prey, and planted a deep kiss on him before he realized what was going on.
