THIS HERE IS AN OLD FASHIONED PETITION DEALY, DONE ENTIRELY IN CANTERLOCKS TO MAKE IT LOOK TWELVE-TIMES MORE PROFESSIONAL. WITHIN THIS PETITION, PETITIONERS WILL STATE THEIR BELIEF IN THE CAUSES HELD HEREIN, AND THEN PROCEED TO ARGUE THEIR STATEMENTS IN A POLITE, NONINFLAMMATORY FASHION. ONLY PETITIONERS WHO MAKE COGNITIVE STATEMENTS TO FACILITATE THE PETITION WILL BE CONSIDERED. THUS, BE WARNED, MERELY SAYING 'AYE' WILL BE INSUFFICIENT DUE TO LACK OF GRAVITAS.

The action proposed by this petition is that Zubs create a new moderator. This is not a candidacy petition- all this petition expresses is the intent that the signers herein wish that there would be another mod, for the express purpose of handling the deluge of applications and apply-ees who seek their character sheets reviewed. There are plenty of good people who have been waiting for a week to get their characters accepted and start RPing. I believe that one or two members, who are on often and willing, be given the responsibility and authority to review character sheets of new applicants and be able give the 'ok' to join in the RP forum.

I believe that this person should be a trusted member, maybe a contributor if one is willing.

In addition, I believe this person, if unsure about whether a character sheet is good or requiring tweaking, should then default to one of the current moderators or founder. Therefore if there are controversial character sheets, an actual moderator should review. This petitions candidate should only be for accepting those Character Sheets that are not controversial.

As producer of the petition, I too sign it. I feel that the regular complaints of players who have not received attention for weeks at a time, justifies the creation of a CS app mod, who will be on regularly to review the CS therein.

Finding a person strictly meant to handle the applications while the current mods handle any big issues is something I have to agree with. All of the applications that have been stuck for a while might scare off new members.

Zubs I love you, as well as the moderation staff. But I think we need another active Staff member. I know that letting people simmer while they wait for their CSs seems like a plan, but we have people who have waited 6 days for their review. I feel if we keep taking the simmer a few days approach we might lose a lot of potential players that way. They might feel the staff is slow and un responsive, which would leave a bad impression. So for my sake and the good of the forum, Id like it if you hired an active app approver staff member.

I love coming to this site. Everyday, I log on, chat with my friends, Roleplay, and go on with my day. This place... I care about this place. And I would do anything in my power to insure that others can enjoy this site too. Which is why, I put forth my vote; Promote a new moderator. This moderator would be a trusted member that could be relied upon to stay true to the sight. My vote is for a contributor, any of them, to take up the torch.
