[Snow Breeze]

Nov. 27, Evening, 6:30PM

Snow grinned as she stood at the ledge of a tall building in the residential district, her pure while mane and tail fluttering slightly in the breeze of the cool night. Her blood red eyes slowly scanned the area for any new playmates she could find. She was beginning to feel a little playful again...

Adjusting the strap keeping the axe on her side, she silently hopped off of the building and slowly lowered herself down to the ground in an alley with her wings. Come on little ponies, where are you? She thought to herself as her silent search continued, making her way through the alley, but keeping off of the main streets to avoid being spotted by any possible victims.

[Dawn Star]

After two painful and boring whole weeks in recovery after her run in and defeat by the merciless griffon kroll she was finally released out back into the miserable world she called home.. a lot has changed sense my last time these streets..but it's good to be back dawn thought to herself she then realized it was late and dark outside she had to find a place to rest for night but how could she ..she had no home.Dawn thought long and hard about this problem and decided her best chance was to head towards the undercity and meet up with double who was released a week before her and the rest of the rebels ..and because her wing were still sore from and flight was almost impossible to do ... she did just that using the moonlight to see and the street lamps as a guide

She followed the lamps to dark alleyway.Dawn look around to see nothing but a little light in the middle she squinted to see it was a rusty Barlow on fire.Dawn used her eyes to scan for anything she needed to worry about ..but saw nothing.She looked at her opptions she could follow the lamps and take the long way around and risk running into those griffbutts or she can go down this alleyway and save some time she then remind herself about what last she did that..but she was confident she could take any attacks or attackers and with the moon barely light up the alleyway and the fire at the half way point she decided to trust herself and enter the alley but dawn forgot one thing ..with double at the undercity and hark still recovering there was no backup this time..
Dawn was alone.

[Snow Breeze]

Snow silently continued her patrol of the maze-like areas of alleys the city had to offer, hoping to find anyone possibly sleeping inside, thinking they would be safe until morning. As much as she enjoyed the actual act of her favorite activity, the search was also exhilarating. She knew these pathways inside and out, even if she had only traveled the entirety of the city once. She made sure no one would be able to hide from her for long.

The albino mare stopped in her tracks as a faint sound caught the attention of her ears, perking them up slightly. An evil grin slowly grew onto her muzzle as she recognized the sound of hoofsteps on the hard pavement. "I think I found my playmate..." She said quietly to herself as she followed the sound of the steps, slowly getting ever closer to their source.

She didn't stop her pursuit until she spotted her target: a yellow and blue pegasus. Taking a deep breath and removing the smirk from her face, she put on a happy and somewhat ditzy smile before trotting up to the unfamiliar pony.

"Hi there."

Dawn continued down the dark path the moon gave some light but not enough to see a mile ahead this made dawn a bit nervous she especially being alone she always had some sort of back up wether if it was double or hark or 767th but accepted that she was the only one here and continued on her hooves made a sound could alert enemies in the shadows but this did not concern her she was ready this time and moved on through with ears pirked up and hooves ready to reach the loaded crossbow or curved swords she carried .

She made it to the middle of the alley with no problems half way there she thought to ease her mind.A cold chill of air blew through the alley causing dawn to shiver she trotted over to Barlow to warm by the flames.While she was doing this she heared voice that came the shadows"Hi there" hearing this startled dawn causing her instincts to go directly for her crossbow aiming straight at the darkness wear the voice came from.While dawn aimed she began to think Is another pony or is this another trick that mind is playing on me then the question was answered from out of the darkness a completely white Pegasus came into the dim light.

Snow quickly cantered up to Dawn and gave her another wide smile. She looked her fellow pegasus over a bit, shifting slightly as she put any weaknesses in her armor into her memory, along with the weapons she had on her. Nothing I shouldn't be able to handle with Silvie here on my side. She thought to herself while keeping her false smile up.

"Sorry if I startled you. I just heard some sounds and was really relieved to see that it was another pony and not some stupid griffon." She replied, keeping her voice up and cheery. She took another step closer to Dawn, not quite entering her personal space just yet, but close nonetheless. "What are you doing out here so late? It's dangerous if one of the patrols see you."

Dawn looked at the white Pegasus awkwardly "I was going ask you the same thing ?" she said as she lowered her bow.Dawn was a little suspicious with this mysterious white mare out in the darkness of late being all smiley like she was it sorta creeped her out..but she was also out late like the mare was so she couldn't judge.Taking a step back and putting her crossbow back in the holster she replied in a friendly tone "I'm sorry I wasn't really expecting friendly company" with smile she continued taking to the mare "What's your name?" she asked trying find out more about her.

[Snow Breeze]

Snow smiled as she took two steps closer to Dawn to compensate for the step back she took, as well as to poke into the pegasus' personal bubble. She tilted her head ever so slightly to the side while keeping her smile. "I'm Snow, but you can call me Snowy if you like." She replied in the same friendly tone as before. "May I ask what your name is?"

Dawn was still questioning the mare in her mind but she pushed aside in order to communicate with the snow giving her the best friendly tone she could do she introduced herself "My name is Dawn Star ..Dawn for sort she smiled but felt uncomfortable with snow in halfway to her face like she was with dawn feeling this way she began looking for an escape rout and she found one dawn was able to inch her way past snow to recreate her personal pace again.Dawn then relized snow was avoiding her main question so she asked it again "So what are you doing out here on your own snow?"

"Me? Oh, I'm just looking for a place to sleep. I don't have a home anymore thanks to those stupid griffons." Snow replied simply while inching ever closer to Dawn, eventually ending up next to her. She placed a foreleg gently over her fellow pegasus' shoulders in a chummy fashion while keeping her smile. "I usually come around her to hide and sleep, but I found a friend instead of a bed. That's even better."

Dawn smiled and droped all the question about snow from her mind She not so bad ..a bit creepy but she's just a troubled pony trying to get by she thought to herself "So you also been hit with the change of griffon rule dawn lowers her head looking down at the ground "So have I .." she raises her head and smiles at snow "And your right it is nice to find a friend." her smile turn into serious look as she looks around the area "But it's dangerous to be out at this time alone with griffon patrols and that crazy killer..uh what his name ?" she thinks trying to figure out the name.

Snow looked forward as a faint devilish grin managed to work its way onto her muzzle, slowly moving a hoof up to her vest and slowly removing her closed up switchblade from it, keeping it hidden under her hoof for the moment. "I think the newspapers called them the Windego, for that snowflake pattern they use as their calling card." She replied simply, flicking her tail slightly to relieve the giddiness coming to her from getting recognition for her acts.

[Dawn Star]

Dawn turned her back to snow Well I have enough weapons and skills to defend against foe like that she turned back to snow"You on the other hoof may want to be careful and mindful of you surroundings ..if your unarmed" she stared the mare for a minute "You know if you really hate those griffon perhaps you could help those pony that still believe in hope and who want those griffons gone...how's about you come with me to the under market where your safe from any griffon patrol party's I was heading there myself.." she turns away from snow again to explain the rout "it's not that far from here..and I will escort you through this alleyway...there nothing here I can't handle..so what do you say?"

Snow looked toward Dawn after hearing her question, silently flipping her switchblade into place. her smirk quickly grew as her eyes locked onto Dawn's. "I think I'd rather stay out here." She replied before quickly swiping her knife toward Dawn, aiming for her throat.

"I don't those Dawn Star will be seeing another dawn." She taunted as her heart began to race once the first attack was thrown.

[Dawn Star]

Dawn replied with a laugh as soon as she heared the answer from snow that she wanted to stay here "Really why would you wan.." dawn speech was suddenly cut off by snow's sneak attack.Dawn became scared as snow started slashing at her with amazing speed and coordination the little white Pegasus was fast but dawn was faster "What Are You Doing!" she yelled as she ducked and evaded snows strikes "Hey Stop..Im A Friendly !" but to dawns eye there was no residence in snow's attack...
It was almost like snow wanted to kill her.

Snow giggled as she turned to face Dawn fully folding up the switchblade and placing it back into her vest, removing her pilfered axe from the strap keeping it to her side. "I have no friends." She replied in an eerily cheery tone. "I just like to see others stop moving. You could say it's a hobby of mine."

With an almost giddy smile, she quickly jumped towards Dawn once more, swinging her axe downward, aiming for the top of her skull. "It's way too fun. And you're my next playmate." She said with the same playful giggle as her heart began to race.

Dawn's eyes widen as she saw the axe free fall towards her head she quickly jumped out of the way and pulled out her cross-bow in her defense against the insane smiling mare.Dawn tried to line up the sights with the white target but snow just kept jumping everywhere swinging the axe around like crazy pony it was almost impossible to get a clear shot her.Dawn kept dodging the blows from the axe but deep down dawn knew she couldn't keep it forever ..she needed to defend herself by making a blow of her own and maybe by some time to reason or get away from this crazy mare.Dawn waited for snow unleash another attack upon her head and just as she planed snow swung again but dawn dodged again but this time thursted the crossbow frame at snows head sending the white mare to the ground.
Dawn held out her bow and aimed at snow "HAVE YOU GONE COMPLETLLY MAD!" she yelled at snow "I Try To Help You And This Is What I Get In Return?" she paused for second "WHAT'S YOUR DAMN PROBLEM!"

The bow's frame hit square on the side of Snow's head and sent her down to the ground. She slowly rose back up to her hooves after a quick moment, regaining her axe and staring at Dawn with an even wider smile than before, giggles only seeming to get more excited as well.

"Who said I needed help? I'm a hunter...and you're my prey." She replied with another giddy laugh. Seemingly unintimidated by the weapon in Dawn's hooves, she approached once more with her weapon ready. "You're really fun to play with too."

Dawn saw that the what she thought was a resourceful attack did absolutely nothing ..it knocked snow to the ground as planed but that attack was suppose to daze her or better knock her out but instead staying on the ground she rose right back up like a zombie with her axe at the ready and a bigger and creeper smile on her face drawing closer and closer.Dawn tried to think of a way to stop her without killing her maybe if I shoot at the legs I can injure her legs enough to stop her in her trackdawn thought she then fired a bolt at her leg.As dawn fired multiple shots at snow she remembered that snow talked about play with her ..she became angry "Play with?...That what you think this is ..a Game?" she shouted while firing.

[Snow Breeze]

Snow giggled as she danced around the shots she had seen coming, one bolt managing to pierce her right foreleg and stop her. Her wings quickly rose up from their sides as she looked down at the bolt, the injury not seeming to make her smile weaker in the slightest despite now being unable to move the leg very well.

"It is for me. A very fun one, my favorite." She replied with the same giddy giggling. She set her axe down and carefully pulled the bolt from her leg before picking the weapon back up. Hobbling toward Dawn at a pace that was nowhere near as quick as before, she smiled. "And I never lose..."

[Dawn Star]

Dawn said nothing and aimed again determined to hit the other leg to stop her from moving any further.Dawn aimed directly for the uninjured leg when her sights were set she closed her eyes darkening her vision of the crazy white mare so she didn't have to see her suffer and whispered to herself "This will hurt me ..more than it will hurt you" ..she pulled the trigger but a strange sound came from the bow it made its usual clicking sound but there was a loud clunk with it dawn opened her eyes quickly in worry that what she thought happened didn't happen but sure enough it did happen...a soldiers worst nightmare ..the very thing that determine life or death in battle
...a jammed weapon.

[Snow Breeze]

Snow blinked for a second as she heard the sounds that came from the weapon. "Oh? Did your little toy break? That's too bad." She taunted with another giggle as she continued to limp toward Dawn. Once she was at a hoof's reach, she held her axe at the ready and took another swing at Dawn, this time aiming for the side of her head rather than the top.

"Don't worry. Snowy won't make it last too long." She replied, breathing seeming to slowly increase, making her seem out of breath despite not having moved more than she was used to.

[Dawn Star]

At a split second as the axe flew sideways this time dawn quickly threw through the bow off to the side of her and right a point of impact pulled out her duel pair of curved swords to block the blade from striking her across the head and to her surprise it worked with quick think to use her swords to block saved her life but there was one problem she pulled them out to late to successfully block snow attack instead she deflected the axe swing which made its power weaker but now it went off its course heading for a new target ..dawn right forearm the blade a cut through her not as serious as a blow to the head but painful just the same. Dawn moaned and dropped her right blade by force from the pain she watched the blood drip from her arm for minute but remembered if she doesn't stay focused ..a bloody arm would be the least of her problems.

[Snow Breeze]

Snow grinned as she saw the blood running from the wound she managed to create, glancing at the blade of her axe and seeming to go into a slight trance as she stared at the blood on it. She slowly moved it to her face and gave the side of it a lick to taste the blood on it. "Tasty." She said simply as her cheeks were colored pink by a flush that was slowly growing darker.

"Maybe I can get more to come out!" She suddenly said in a giddy tone as she tried swinging the axe again, her aim seeming slightly off and swing slower than before.

[Dawn Star]

Dawn was injured but didn't mean she couldn't fight as she checked the wound to see how bad it was which it wasn't that bad but it was bleeding she turned to yell at snow "You ..." was cut off again by snows axe again going slightly slower by still moving at a dangerous speed.Dawn lifted the sword up and blocked the blow but with snow and dawns strength evenly matched both weapons were locked in place which meant.. it was a battle of how long one can defend before there defense is broken and..lucky dawn she ways holding snow back.

[Snow Breeze]

Snow giggled as she continued to press her axe into Dawn's sword, trying her best to break through the defense, but being kept in a stalemate. Her foreleg began to tremble lightly as her senses began to weaken her down slightly. She was eventually forced to jump back as her foreleg gave out, keeping a hold on her weapon but not moving from her spot as she began to breathe heavily.

[Dawn Star]

Dawn held her defense up until she saw the white mare fall back .Dawn picked up the other blade that she dropped and used them both to get back on her hooves.Once dawn was back up it took a minute to regain energy but once she got it back dawn walked over to snow was out of breath and unable to move. When she got to snow dawn stood a said "It's over..you have no more energy to continue...you have lost ..lay down your weapon" she said with a commanding voice but dawn was also out breath and if snow decided to keeping going dawn may not be able to defend herself again.

[Snow Breeze]

Snow giggled as she put her axe onto her side as if nothing had happened, staring at Dawn for a moment before taking a step back. "I have plenty of energy left, but I have somewhere I need to be." She replied, eying the blue and yellow mare one last time. "I'll see you later once my business is taken care of. You can't escape me."

With one final giggle, her flapped her extended wings to get to the air and disappear behind the buildings and leave Dawn alone.

Dawn watched the snow take off and disapear behind some buildings.dawn put the swords back where they belonged and picked up her cross-bow "Your right.. we shall meet again" she said while put her jammed cross-bow back in its holster and looked at her injured arm "we shall fight again ...windego" dawn looked away where snow attacked her and thenstarted headed for the undercity.
