[Devela]

November 25th

Deveal laid in the park, slowly circling a bolt in the air with her tail. She had been in the city for 5 days and done nothing but sit around with the fire marshal, drinking and having good old brawls. She wanted some fun beyond the usual and decided to travel to the park for a quite place to think,

She still kept her crossbow on her just in case some more masked individuals decided to attack her. She had a bottle in each talon and some lighters on the ground before her. She was trying to figure out how to make alcohol bursting flame bolts.

[Snow Breeze]

A streak of white zipped through the sky, the creator of said streak scanning the ruined city for anything that looked interesting. Snow had every inch of the town into memory, but sometimes things changed or moved around. She didn't like it when they did.

Pausing in the skies above the large park, she saw a figure she wasn't familiar with. Was there a new griffon in town?

As she quietly observed the creature, her heart began to slowly race, beating faster and faster as a familiar urge began to fill her. Her neutral expression slowly changed into a happy grin as she slipped in her her giggly idiot facade. It hadn't failed her yet.

The pure white pegasus began to slowly lower herself to the ground, touching down not too far away from the griffon she had seen. Taking a few steps closer, she gave her a smile.

"Hi there."

[Prism]

Prism had come to the park to relax and to sit and watch the old skyscrapers and he though the best place he could stay for a few hours without too many question. He was watching the skyscrapers to see if could work out if any would be safe to use as a lookout point as some of the taller once would give a good view of the city as well as a look into the Griffon’s HQ but wanting to make sure they were not watch by the Griffons.

As well as watching the buildings he had been looking around the park to see who else was here, there was both Pony’s and Griffons mostly enjoying the park or just patrolling. There was one Griffon that seems to be playing with fire that he had kept an eye on last thing they needed was to have this nice place burn down.

He did his normal look around the park, that he did every few minutes but he had now seen a pure white Pegasus was now talking to the Griffon. He couldn't think why any pony would want to talk to a Griffon unless it was a Guard and that was normally because they don’t give you much in the way of a choice. This gave him a though getting a bit closer to see what a Griffon and a Pegasus would even talk about would be a good idea. He got up from his spot under a tree and a good distance away but making sure he could at least hear what was being said.

[Devela]

Devela looked up as she took a drink of a rather strong whiskey she had found in a liquor store near the apartments. She set the bottle down seeing the white pegasus "Hey there." She kept the bolt spinning in the air as she watched the pegasus. Finally she pulled a cork off the bottle of scotch and poured it into a hollow bolt, then slide the lighter in place. Devela stood and loaded her crossbow with the experimental bolt before aiming in the sky "Hmm, wonder what range i got with this."

[Snow Breeze]

Snow looked towards the bow in the griffon's possession, eyes wandering to look her over a bit as her heart continued to race. Her breathing became ever so slightly more shallow as her excitement slowly grew.

Taking every little detail of her target into her memory, the pegasus slowly made her way to the side of the griffon, doing her best to make it look natural.

"That's a really neat weapon you have."

[Prism]

Prism watch Griffon load the bolt hopping that it wouldn’t fire it into the sky. It would be a typical Griffon doing something like that not caring where the bolt will land or if it will hit any pony with some luck maybe she would hit a Griffon if she does.

He looked back to the skyscrapers still keeping his ears on their chat; he was not sure what this Pegasus was up to but he was getting the idea that clearly it wasn't anything like a planned meeting.

[Devela]

Devela looked over the sight of her crossbow and then at the pegasus getting close. She nodeed her head setting it down, then picked up another bolt casing and started to unscrew it "Thanks, it's a family heirloom." With her tail curled around a regular bolt she took a swig from her beer again and tried to think of a way to make a bottle that would include shrapnel too.

[Snow Breeze]

Snow smiled as she steadily got closer to the griffon that had her attention, trying to find a good position to keep her left hoof out of view of her target. "That sounds really neat. It must be a really good bow to be passed down for so long." She replied with as sincere of a smile she could fake. "Do you have any hobbies that don't include that bow?"

Keeping her smile on her face, she slowly reached up to one of the pockets on her vest and slipped one of her switchblades out. She lowered her hoof to the ground, doing her best to keep the weapon hidden.

[Prism]

Prism through about how many ponies could of been killed by it and hopped that the old user of it meet their end with a weapon from a pony, at lest that would of been some justice.

He spotted some movement in the skyscraper he was watch clearly trying to work out if it was Griffon or pony starting to lose interest in what they where talking about as he felt he wasn't going to get anything from eves dropping this conversation.

[Devela]

Devela laid down her tools and looked up at the pegasus and took out a knife from her bag and a block of wood "If you don't mind I would like to show you what I can do." She wasn't stupid, she never trusted ponies and this one seemed way too friendly to be trusted so she kept the tail moving, heck it was darting side to side like crazy, the bolt in it poised to fire at any moment.

[Snow Breeze]

Snow shifted her hoof slightly to flip the blade of her knife out into its ready position, keeping it hidden in the grass for now. "You like to carve wood? That's really cool. I wish I could do something like that." She replied with a smile.

"Can you show me what you can make?" She asked calmly, waiting for the griffon to split her attention and give her a better chance to strike.

[Prism]

He watch the finger take off it was too small for a Griffon, this was a good sign he made note of what building it was before looking over to the two he had been eves dropping on.

'Wood carve' He through to himself clearly he was wasting his time and looking far too much into a pony and a Griffon talking to each other, but why would this pony even be having a friendly chat to the Griffon could she see what they had done to Equestria.

[Devela]

Devela noticed the whisk of grass and a shiver grew up her spin. She thought this might be one of those masked ponies and carefully exchanged her regular bolt for a new alcohol flame ones. She slowly turned towards Snow Breeze and smiled "Sure just stand back some and let me get a good picture of you."

[Snow Breeze]

Snow only took a step closer after the words were spoken, her smile only seeming to grow ever larger across her muzzle. "Can't you make something else? There's something nice over there that might be fun to carve instead." She replied, pointing her right hoof towards a pair of ponies sitting by a tree. "How about copying that scene right there?"

Slowly shifting her weight off of her left foreleg once her right was back down on the ground, she subtly readied herself while keeping her smile on the whole time.

[Devela]

Devela took a step back as she started working with the wood, not even taking her eyes of the white pegasus, slowly she started trimming down the wood, slivers falling to the ground. She was making this pegasus, cause in case she killed her she would always remember the weirdo who had tried to kill her. She cleaned up herstuff as she stepped back "What is your name?"

[Snow Breeze]

Snow's expression almost instantly turned from the kind smile she had been wearing to a much more serious and sinister grin. "My name isn't important." She said bluntly before taking a few quick steps towards the griffon and swinging her left foreleg towards her, aiming the blade of her knife towards her neck.

"Everyone who has tried to figure that out never lasted long enough to find it out." She said in an eerily calm tone of voice.

[Prism]

He was watch the skyscrapers once more hardly even listen to the two any more, but a few words made him looked over to the two once more.

She couldn't be not in the middle of the park in the middle of the day the guards would be here in moments if anything happened. He started to go through his choices does he help this pony or leave her to what's going to happen to her.

[Devela]

Devela raised an arm taking the slash across it as her tail shot the bolt out "Then die you little runt, how dare you attack for no reason." She jumped away, slipping the wood working tools and block into her bag as she grabbed a lighter and bottle of whiskey.

[Snow Breeze]

Snow smirked as she saw the blood she already managed to extract from the griffon, not paying any mind to the bolt that sailed over and away from her.

"I'm not the one that's going to be dying today." She said in a much more sinister tone than she had previously been speaking in. "And I do have a reason. A very nice reason."

In a moment of silence, she glanced towards her slightly bloodied blade with a frown. "Aww...you made it all dirty." She said with a frown on her muzzle, opening her mouth and slowly licking the blood off. "Much better."

[Prism]

He was not the sort to leave some pony by them self and there display was already getting some heads turning so it wouldn't be too long before the Guards showed up.

He got to his hoofs slowly there was no point rushing in as the Griffon could see him coming hopeful he could move so the Griffon had her back to him and he could get a surprise hit and he was going to need to use the element of surprise as he was unarmed.

[Devela]

Devela raised an eyebrow seeing the mare lick the blade clean. This mare was simply crazy, there was no other way of explaining that. The griffin saw a buck moving over and shrugged as she took a sip form the whiskey and turned the lighter on before spraying a stream of fire around herself.

[Snow Breeze]

Snow simply took a few calm steps back to avoid the flames, smirking a bit at them. With a flick of her foreleg, she threw her blade at the griffon like a dart, aiming for nowhere in particular and just hoping to wound her. She quickly slipped another knife from her vest and flipped it into position, smirk ever growing onto her face.

"That's a neat trick, but you'll need more than that." She stated coldly, continuing her steps backwards to keep distance from any flames that might come at her.

[Prism]

Thinks where starting to get heated, he laughed a little to himself for that joke but things were getting serious now and he was going to have to act soon the guards where going to be drawn to the fire.

He was going to have to knock the Griffon out the way and then get the pony out of there. He didn't like the idea of running through fire and unless the white pony could get the Griffon out of there that was what he was going to have to do. He started to mental prepare himself for something he really didn't want to do; he would give it a few more seconds.

[Devela]

The griffinesse took another sip of her whiskey, ducking to dodge the knife then turned the whiskey into a solid fireball, headed straight for Snow as a bolt followed it up. Devela looked back at Prism and frowned "Sty out of this pony, she attacked me first." With that she gave a flap of her wings to give new life to the flames.

[Snow Breeze]

Snow instinctively flared her wings and quickly hovered backwards away from the flames that were coming her way, ignoring the bold that skimmed along her underbelly and left a shallow cut along it. She simply stayed in the air while looking down at the griffon, her heart only racing faster as the pain of the cut sank in.

Her ears folded back just a touch as she did her best to focus on her target, keeping careful watch of all her movements and habits to place into her memory for good.

[Prism]

'She attacked me first' yes just like the Griffon's attacked Equestria first he thought to himself.

It’s now or never Prism through to himself, he had to act now before this changed to and air fight. He ran full speed at the Griffon. He wished he could do the shield spell when moving but was something he had to stay still to use it.

If he was fast wouldn't burn that back he moved his body so he would hit the Griffon with his right shoulder hopping that hitting from the side would knock the Griffon over.

[Devela]

Devela rolled her eyes as she felt the pony knock into her shoulder and instead of fighting against him, she grabbed his horn and as they went down, she shoved the horn down into the ground before springing back to her paws and scanning the air for the pesky pegasus. She looked straight at Snow as she pointed to the fire "Mmm, roasted unicorn horn and grilled pegasus wings. Is it my birthday or what?"

[Snow Breeze]

Snow kept to the skies while watching the other two, placing the red unicorn and all his details into her memory for later. Her focus began to slowly haze as the flowed by, keeping her movements sporadic to keep the bolts from coming at her too easily. She said nothing, simply waiting for an opportunity to hit as her mind began to stray from the fight.

[Prism]

He hit his target with only a light heat on his underside. He soon realised this was more of a mistake then he first through as he turn his head at the last moment so his bad eye would take the worse of the fire. He kicks out as he rolled out of the fire putting out any flames that got onto his face.

There wasn't that much flames to worry about but he was going to need a new eye patch and a haircut. Without taking his eye off the Griffon he called up to the Pegasus “Go! Before the guard’s come.” he slowly get back to his feet make sure to keep his distance as he was going to have start to think about his getaway.

[Devela]

Devela sighed looking at the unicorn before flicking her tail to the side of his good eye, a bolt whizzing past his face towards Snow as her paw went in a hay-maker towards his jaw. She looked around at the fire and the fighting and then at the peasus before launching into the air "I admit this is some fun I am having, and I can tell you are having fun as well."

[Snow Breeze]

Snow watched as the griffon began to come after her, quickly taking her axe from the belt around her waist and swinging it towards her pursuer. "I wouldn't come any closer if I were you." She said simply, holding onto the weapon firmly as she tried to chase her foe off while her focus continued to slowly wander off farther from its path.

[Prism]

He was backing away from the Griffon as he knew they were a lot stronger then he was when it comes to close combat. The Griffon went for him he had made sure there was space so he had time. A quick shield spell a few moments before impact and the Griffon's paw hit the shield.

The Griffon took flight some where he didn't want to go and it was clear the Pegasus wasn't going to leave. He already had his fast get away but as there was time he made for the flames to stamp them out so they wouldn't lose the one nice thing in this dam city.

[Devela]

Devela whipped out two bolts, taking one in each of her paws before raising them in an X to block the blade of the ax and smiled looking Snow in the eyes as her tail moved to trace along the wound on the belly, dripping blood on it. "Wow nice wound you have here." She laughed as the tail flung the blood up against the weapons.

[Snow Breeze]

Snow smirked as her axe locked into the two bolts, keeping the pressure on them with her right hoof while ignoring the tail running along her wound. "Maybe, but it doesn't bother me at all." She said bluntly, reading her left hoof that still held onto her spare knife.

She suddenly thrust the small blade toward the griffon's arm, aiming to either injure it or move it away to possibly continue her axe's path towards her foe, yelling, "Though, you need to pay attention to both hooves!" with a laugh.

[Prism]

Prism stomped out the last of the flames on the ground and looked up to the sky where they were still fighting. There must be something he could do.

He started to look around for something to throw or even us as a weapon. He looked over at the trees and looking at one of the larger branches started to pull on it with is telekinesis it took a few try's but it snapped off he now had something he could use to get at the Griffon. If the Pegasus didn't leave soon he was going to have to leave her to the guards there was no way he wanted to get mixed up with them.

[Devela]

Devela watched as her bolts started to bend then gave a smirk back as she flung her flanks up in the air, bringing her bolts up the blade, most likely sending Snow down with the absence of resistance and tried to wrap her tail around the mare's neck. "Your good, now I require your name before either of us kill each other."

[Snow Breeze]

Snow yelped slightly as the force of her axe sent her into a slight spin, managing to right herself just in time to get gabbed around the throat by the griffon's tail. The mare's eyes stared blankly for a few moments as she felt the other being's body touching hers, her pupils suddenly shrinking down to pinpricks and and loss of focus she one had was lost.

"Let go of me!" She nearly roared in a berserk rage, swinging the axe with all her might towards the tail, aiming to rend it into two pieces as her expression slowly grew more deranged.

[Prism]

Prism looked up at the fight once more after getting his branch off the tree.

Things didn't look like they were going well. He floated the branch up to the Griffon's underside aiming for her flank he swung the make shift weapon with all the force he could.

[Devela]

Devela swung her flanks and tail away from both the branch and the psycho mare. She looked down at the buck and growled sliding her tail to her bolt holder and fired two at him, one after another. The first she hoped he used a shield because it was a regular bolt but the second one was a piercer designed with a thin point and slender body to slip in small spaces. She kept her full attention on Snow, the mare scared her but fascinated her at the same time.

[Snow Breeze]

Snow's breathing became heavy as her eyes locked onto the griffon, her mad expression only growing more deranged as her mind continued to slip despite the physical contact being stopped. Suddenly rushing forward in the air, she slashed at her foe with a horizontal swing of her axe, putting every ounce of strength into the strike aimed at the midsection.

"No one...ever...touches me!!" She screeched madly as sweat began to trickle down her forehead, sticking a lock of her mane between her eyes. "Never again!!"

[Prism]

Prism had seen the Griffon use its tail in this way a number of times now. Not wanting to lose grip of his only weapon and so he could keep up the presser with his attacks he rolled to the right.

Looking where they had landed he was sure he could of stayed still and would have missed him. The Griffon clearly didn't have time to make sure her aim was true with the Pegasus swinging that axe. Prism ready his branch again this time going for her left wing.

[Devela]

Devela gave a screech of anger as she was continuously attack by both pegasus and unicorn. Finally she sacrificed a slash across her stomach to veer away from the stick and aimed both paws to grab Snow's and hold them in place to keep the ax at bay.

[Snow Breeze]

Snow grinned widely as her weapon slashed at her foe, quickly twisting herself around in the air to avoid the grab attempt that came at her. With her vengeful strike placed, she slowly began to fall back into her normal state of mind while slowly falling out of breath.

Her pupils slowly dilated back to their normal size after a few moments, her focus beginning to have once more as the pain in her belly came back to her. "Give...up..."

[Prism]

Prism kept up the presser with his branch attacking from a different side the white Pegasus was attacking from.

The branch was working well but he hadn't hit yet and if it did all it would do was knock the Griffon about he was going to need something that would hurt it make it bleed. That's when he remembered the bolts that the Griffon had thrown at him still stuck into the ground he made his way over to them. Two can play at this game he through to himself.

[Devela]

Devela looked at Snow as she held a paw across her stomach to keep it together. She finally closed ehr eyes for a single moment before staring right into the red eyes, meeting them with her own violet ones "I will never give up till I avenge my father and kill those who killed him." She reached behind herself and brought out the wood working tools. "I promise once I avenge him I shall happily sit in this very park and let you kill me, no sooner and no later. I will leave a statue of you here to let you know the deed is done, when I return and find it gone then I will wait for death by your hooves."

[Snow Breeze]

Snow grinned lightly as she tried her best to hide that she was out of breath. She simply shook her head before moving higher up into the air. "Sorry, but I don't need a reminder...or a signal. Also, no one can keep my image." She replied bluntly before turning her back towards the griffon.

Turning her head around to give the guard a smirk as a wordless warning, the mare placed her axe back onto its belt before flying off into the cityscape.

[Prism]

He had got the bolts and looked up to see how their fight was going to see that the Pegasus was moving away. It was about dam time he thought to himself.

Dam there was a guard there as well it was time to get the hell out of here himself. He started to power up his spell ready for his getaway.

[Devela]

Devela slowly waved the guard off of her as she went down and collected her bolts. She stared at the unicorn and smiled starting yet another statue of wood "I will remember you, and trust me if I find you first. I will kill you."

With those final words she put her things away and headed home to the apartments, thinking of ways to make more special bolts.

[Prism]

He stood his ground as the Griffon come down to get her bolts that she could pick up after she took off he stopped his spell now no need to even us it. He rolled the last words she said over in his mind, clearly she had been hurt more then he though and just waving the Guards off like that she could have tried to end it right now.

He was left with more question then answers over what just happened, he would have to ask back at the underground about these two, he didn't have any names but he was sure their description would at least get some answers if he asked around. He had two of the Griffon's bolts as well so maybe they would give some answers. He made his way out of the park as quickly as he could and headed for the underground.
