[Void's Mirror]

Mirror Lone- Outside the hopsital

Like the others Mirror looked at the airship. Around her, ponies began dancing, only a few for most were the patients of the hospital and too sick to do much. She wondered how they all could have left their rooms that fast.
Then she heard how all ponies around her breathed in and seemed to hold their breath. As did Mirror herself, she noticed. The reason was a purple pony that jumped of the airship. Was she? No, that couldn't be! But it looked like that.
Then, when the first pegasi who weren't too sick or hurt, started to leave ground in a desperate attempt to save the falling pony, he or she spread her wings. Wings! Couldn't she had shown them earlier instead of frighten everyone to death?! Mirror was angry. But the ponies around here all seemed amazed by the purple pony's action. Mirror could only shake her head, incredible.

She looked where the pony landed - which was on the hospital's roof, it seemed. She couldn't see her for she was, of course, standing in the wrong angle. Who knows, maybe she had flown further?
But before she could think of what to do next, she sensed that somepony was approaching her and when she looked up noticed a stallion who asked her to hold something for him. It was a pouch.
Perplexed her glance switched between the little bag and the stallion. Before she could think of something to say, he simply put it into her hooves.
Even more confused, she wanted to say something, at least, now - but the stallion was gone. But not simply gone. He vanished. Disappeared into thin air and only his cloak was left, swinging calmy to the ground.
Totally aghast, Mirror looked down at it. That cannot be. That simply cannot be. She must be dreaming. She looked around if anyone had noticed what was going on but still their interests were fixed on the airship.
Her gaze went to the pouch. What was that? First, she might have thought it was something stolen and the police will get to her in no time flat. But the way the stallion had disappeared. It must be some kind of bad black magic. Mirror wanted to throw the pouch away.

[Atriark]

Atriark - Outside City Hall

Atriark thumped his head against the door to the City Hall, grumping to himself as he barely heard his partner speak. What was he going to do next? He wasn't really intending on shutting down the airship party, it was actually playing some decent music and everypony seemed to be enjoying themselves. No, he was just curious as to if they had the proper paperwork to be hosting an outdoor event. At this point, other than flying up to the airship, there wasn't much he could do- Wait, flying. He couldn't fly, but his partner could.

"hey," he said twirling around. "Do you think you can lift me...." he trailed off as he saw a foal fall from the airship. He was enraptured, watching the small equine plummeted to the ground, unable to speak at the odd...serenity she was portraying. And then she opened her wings, catching herself from the jaws of death and soared off.

"Scratch that, let's follow that filly. She came from the airship, maybe she knows something," he justified.

[Kroll]

Kroll - Outside City Hall

Kroll had his attention on his partner when Hijinks had jumped from the airship, so he was rather confused by the stallion's words. Even so, it had been a long day, and anything that would make it go by faster at this point would be welcome.

"Very well. If it is as you say, than let us proceed as so." he said as he motioned with a wing for Atriark to take point.

[Lance]

Scintillance - Still ponyhandled by Mirror Lone

The crystal started to hum faintly; it would be warm to the touch. It sensed Mirror's growing discomfort, and tried to assure her that there was nothing to worry about; However no words were spoken, But rather it was as if it was projecting its own thoughts among hers, vivid ideas in her mind that didn't belong to her , and she would know it.

[Void's Mirror]

Mirror Lone - In front of the hospital

While staring down at the pouch with its crystal fastener, her eyes went wide when the latter began slowly warming her hooves. "What...", she murmured.
Then ideas strode into her mind and she winced. I am getting mad, losing my mind!, she thought. Something somehow told her not to feel uncomfortably.Which had the effect that she did feel uncomfortable. More than before.
Her eyes coulnd't move away from the pouch, or rather: from the crystal. She took some two steps backwards and fell on her hindquarters as her legs lost their strength.

[Lance]

Scintillance - well she didn't throw him away yet.
The crystal's next projection was a subtle urge to facehoof, and a reminder that magic isn't exactly unheard of.

[Void's Mirror]

Mirror Lone - In front of the hospital

"MA-", Mirror called out, then hastily lowering her voice in fear the ponies around might think her mad, "-gic?!?" Her disbelief was audible. "Black magic suits much better!", she hissed.
Then she stopped. Of course ponies will think her mad - she's already started talking to a stone.
Standing up she made her way around the next corner and sat down there, putting the pouch on the ground.

[Lance]

Scintillance - on the ground apparently

The crystal's light was starting to dim as it was no longer held by Lone. it was as if it was panicking, channeling the fact that the communicative link would soon be severed so long as she wasn't in physical contact with the crystal, or at least the pouch.

[Hijinks]

Just as Mirror Lone sat down, a purple blur dropped down from the roof of the hospital and landed right in front of her. "Hello!" Hijinks chirped loudly, sticking her face a few inches away from the strange orange mare.

Noticing that she almost stood on something, she looked down at the slightly glowing pouch. "What's this you got?" she asked, picking up the pouch and looking at it.

[Void's Mirror]

Mirror Lone - At one side of the hospital, outside

Before Mirror could react to the dimming of the gemstone's light, she screamed once as something fell from the sky and landed in front of her. She backed away to the hospital's wall, seeing that it was a purple pony.
"Don't...", she said but it was too late. The forgein pony had already picked up the pouch.
Mirror shaked her head shortly. "Better you lay it back. It's...strange." She couldn't think of anything else to say. Then she looked at the pony, noticing something about her that she couldn't name.

[Lance]

Scintillance - now ponyhandled by Hijinks

The link with Lone was still fading, and a link with Hijinks was now establishing itself. Thoughts of humor and disbelief would infiltrate both ponies' thoughts.

[Hijinks]

Hijinks - Chilling with Mirror and Lance

Hijinks snorted humourously as she inspected the bag and noticed the glowing crystal. "Don't be silly! What's there to be scared of?" she asked as held the crystal in her hoof, examining the mysterious object. The more she looked it at, the more she felt like it was impossible to come across it, but funny that she actually did. However, after looking at the object for a few seconds, it clicked.

"Hey," the filly started as she looked up at the orange mare again. "Did you find this by following a weird flashing light?"

[Void's Mirror]

Mirror Lone - The exact opposite of chilling with Hijinks and Stoned Lance at a outer side wall of the hospital

Mirror frowned. "A flashing light?", she asked. "Not really. A stallion gave it to me and then... disappeared into thin air." She paused and looked at the crystal.
"I don't know who the stallion was, where he went to or what that thing is but it manupaltes your thoughts." She sounded bitter.

[Lance]

Scintillance - totally chilling with Hijinks and Lone

The link with Lone had severed, and only Hijinks would feel the suggestion that the stallion Lone met was the crystal he gave her.

[Hijinks]

Hijinks - Gotta agree with Lance here

Hijinks looked back up at Mirror and shook her head. "Nope! The stallion is actually the cryst-" Hijinks paused, suddenly realizing the implications of what she just said. "This crystal... is a pony?" She asked, more to herself as she once again held the crystal in her hoof and inspected it.

"Hello? Are you in there? Are you stuck?" The filly asked the crystal. Maybe smashing it would free the pony, she thought.

[Void's Mirror]

Mirror Lone - overly correct as I am or she is stating that she is still outside the hospital, not the front and not the back

Mirror watched the filly - yes, now that she had get a proper look at her, Mirror recognized it was a young filly - and her frown deepened while her heart strangely calmed down.
She tried to make sense of what she had heard. The stallion who gave her the pouch actually being ...the crystal?
She took a deep breath, smoothed her forehead. But as she heard the filly's last sentence, her frown immediatly reappeared.
"I'm not sure breaking the gem will do good. Maybe it will be very bad..." She wasn't sure if she believed the filly with the stallion being the crystal thing or if she was afraid of a kind of dangerous magic that wasn't to be freed.
She made a step forward again, looking at the crystal.

[Lance]

Scintillance - In a crystal

Lance projected a growing discomfort towards Hijinks, that destroying the crystal would sooner destroy him as well. There was nothing to be done about the matter, and to be frank, no need.

[Hijinks]

Hijinks nodded sagely. "Right. Breaking bad. It would hurt the poor little pony inside." With that decided, the purple filly decided to look inside the pouch. What she found inside was a pen and a bunch of sticky notes. "What's this junk?" she pondered as she pulled out a note.

"Do you want to hear a scin-til-lating story?" she read out loud from the note. "What the hay does that mean?" Rummaging through the other notes only brought up weird poetry and other crazy writings.

[Void's Mirror]

Mirror Lone - Outside the hospital, side wall

Mirror looked at the notes Hijinks found inside the pouch. "Scintillating story?", she asked. "No idea. Does the crystal speak in your mind? It could answer, I guess."

[Lance]

Scintillance - in Jinks' mind

And answer he did. But the only answer given was that it was a riddle. From a failed plan.

[Atriark]

Atriark - Streets of Manehattan

Pushing his way through the growing crowd of ponies, Atriark tried to keep his eyes on the filly Pegasus that had dropped from the airship. The crowd was proving such a task to be difficult, and soon impossible when he bumped into a dancing stallion.

"Watch where you're going," the stallion grumbled before trotting away so he could get back to dancing in peace.

"Kroll?" the zebra said, looking around him, trying to find his partner, "There you are, thought I lost you. Do you remember which way the purple filly went? Crowd's getting too thick. We need to get out of here."

[Kroll]

Kroll - Streets of Manehattan

Grinding his beak as he trailed after his partner, Kroll barged his way through the thickening crowd in the streets, using his stature and strength to his advantage as he tried to keep a visual on the small zebra. He tuned out the cries of protest of civilians as he muscled his way past them, his ears already ringing from the deafening volume of the music that blasted from the airship that hung over head. 

Seeing his partner in the distance, the griffon made his way over as the stallion began to talk to him. "Purple what?!" The tercel shouted after straining to make out Atriark's voice over the din around them. "You were leading this way for me, and I still am unaware of what we are in pursuing of."

Kroll huffed as he looked around at the growing rabble, spotting a slight clearing near a hospital before looking back down at Atriark, noting the stallion's diminutive size. Not wanting to risk being separated from his partner again, the griffon coiled his tail around Atriark's neck like an impromptu leash as he started moving through the crowd again. "I push us both to closest edge of the crowd so we may reassess. Stay close."

After a few minutes the two found themselves at the outskirts of the party, ending up near the hospital. Kroll uncoiled his tail from around Atriark's neck as he rolled his shoulders, slightly sore from pushing through the crowd.

[Atriark]

Atriark - Being drug around by a tail

"The one that fe-GERK" the zebra had to quicken his pace to keep up with his partner and keep from being strangled by his leash, following the gryphon as he weaved his way through the crowd.

"Some Pegasus launched themselves from the airship. I'm surprised you didn't see them," Atriark finished when the tail was off from around his neck.

[Hijinks]

Hijinks groaned and clutched her head with her free hoof. "Urgh, all this mind speaking is making my head hurt," the filly whined. "Do you wa-" she cut herself off as a police griffon and zebra burst out of the crowd.

"Crikey! It's the Manehatten rozzers!" She exclaimed excitedly, pointing them out for Mirror to see.

[Lance]

Scintillance - on Hijinks' hoof, either being pressed against her head or pointed towards "rozzers"

Lance apologized to Jinks for his mind speaking, and then apologized for apologizing inside her mind, and then apologized for whatever he did to deserve this treatment of being flung around like a pointing stick.

[Void's Mirror]

Mirror Lone - to lazy to write where exactly

Mirror turned to see what Hijinks were pointing at and saw two police officers coming their way towards them. Interestingly, one was a griffon and the other a zebra. Not that usual.
They seemed to be focused on them, so Mirror had little doubt that it wasn't coincidence but their aim to be here.
Her gaze shifted back to the crystal in the filly's hoof. She got scared of it. What if the police were coming for it? What if... she wasn't sure but she got afraid.
She tried to calm herself down by telling herself that she had nothing to do with it.
"Maybe you shouldn't point to them so obviously. Especially not with the... pouch", she said, not wanting to name the real important thing.
She frowned. Maybe they should hand it over to the police, they might help the pony inside it...

[Atriark]

Atriark - Being called a "Rozzer"

Looked up and saw the exact Pegasus that had fallen from the airship. "It's you," he turned to Kroll and pointed the filly out. "She's the one that fell from the airship. We need to have a few words with you missy. Down at the station if you will."

[Hijinks]

Hijinks - Getting in trouble

Hijinks was about to call Mirror paranoid but she changed her mind once the police zebra singled her out. She clutched the pouch and crystal close to her chest, which made her feel safe for some reason.

"What?!" She shouted out at the zebra in shock. "You can't do that! I have rights!" Or at least she thought she did. Hijinks wasn't a wizard when it came to law stuff.

[Lance]

Scintillance - within Hijinks' grasp

Lance projected a few likely reasons for the police' interest in Hijinks. For one, she just pulled a stunt that caused some panic. For another, she was seen directly coming from the airship. However why either case was severe enough to take a filly to the station was beyond him. Especially the airship, the could just find their way up there and ask the pilot. On second thought, why fly when there was a filly from up there, down here?

For now, The police have the right to detain Hijinks and interrogate her, but as long as she hasn't done anything wrong, and as long as she does not resist, they have no right to harm or fully arrest her. Better to go with them before they treat her as a juvenile resisting the law.

Hijinks might also notice that Lance's thoughts have started to be clearer, more detailed, and almost... voiced.

[Kroll]

Kroll - Next to Atriark.

Stepping forward, the griffon pointed an accusing talon at the purple filly. "We are not requesting cooperation from you, we are demanding it from you." Kroll said in a cold tone, clearly not in the mood for any delays.

"If you do not comply, we will bring you with us through applied force." the tercel continued, shifting his wing slightly so the mare could see his holstered rifle. "Do not test us, Equestrian. You will fail."

[Void's Mirror]

Mirror Lone - Sidewall of hospital

Mirror was shocked. What was happening? She didn't quite catch up and was worried it had to do with the pouch. But why didn't anyone notice her, Mirror? Then she remembered that the filly had flown down from the airship, maybe that was the reason. But the way she was treated was no way justified.

"Excuse me, sirs", she said in a friendly manner, not polite because politness was often a lie and also recognized as one. "Why is the reason you want to take her with you? She is a young filly, not yet out of age, I suppose. You are scaring her, I fear." She looked as friendly as she managed to though she was afraid herself.

[Atriark]

Atriark - Alley on the side of the Hospital

The zebra groaned audibly, "Alright, let's just take a step back everyone. First off, no this is not a demand, though it  could easily be one. I am asking if the young Pegasus would kindly accompany us to the station so that she may have a warm drink while we ask her a few questions about the Airship. We'd appreciate cooperation, but we do have to make sure that airship hanging above our city has the proper paperwork to be doing that. And seeing as I'm a rather out of shape zebra, I wouldn't want to put my partner through the strain of carrying me up there just to have  a chat with the pilot if we can avoid it." he motions to the purple Pegasus. "And seeing as we have what appears to be one of the crew mate of the ship, we can avoid it if you will allow us the pleasure of a talk over cocoa."

[Hijinks]

Hijinks was getting mixed feelings about these police officers. The griffon seemed like a real jerk and a bit scary while the zebra was alright, if a bit patronizing. Maybe it's a good cop, bad cop thing, Hijinks thought.

Regardless, the filly thought it best to heed the advice of the magical crystal pony, even though she'd rather tell the police officers to go away. "Alright. If you 'insist'. But why doesn't the cat bird fly up to the airship on his own? And don't you have any pegasi in the police? It seems a bit ridiculous that you'd need to question a filly to find out that DJ-Pon3 is in town. Or did you miss that memo as well?" she asked, pointing a glare at the griffon. She was going to be loud and annoying if she could just for this bird.

[Lance]

Scintillance- Inside Jinks's head.

Lance had to agree with Hijinks about the griffon flying alone, thing, even suggested that she remind them that the airship itself could disappear on them. Not that he wants to tell them how to do their job, but there's multiple suspects in the general vicinity that aren't even running away; why are they settling for one? Even more laughably, why are they settling for the one filly who's obviously too young to really have anything to do with legal papers and airships and massive night parties?

However, Lance did want Hijinks to consider that the more trouble she gives these officers, the more trouble this griffon might give her. Keep it civil, Jinks.

[Kroll]

Kroll - Towering over Hijinks

The non-marred side of the tercel's face scowled as the purple filly mouthed off to him, not in the mood to put up with any sort of resistance. However, at her suggestion of going up to the airship, Kroll blinked and looked over at his partner.

"We were given no notice of such a thing. However...flying up to the airship myself may very well resolve things....what say you, partner?" the griffon asks, his thin smile making no attempts in hiding the malice in his tone.

[Void's Mirror]

Mirror Lone - Alley beside the hospital

Mirror nodded and sighed at least in her thoughts, not daring to sigh aloud. So they do have at least a bit of sense, she thought.
What the filly said made sense, and it was embarrassing, Mirror thought, that the police hadn't thought of this their own.
Also Mirror began wondering what the filly had to do with that party. DJ Pony told her nothing at all - which wasn't really surprising - and she said something about a memo. So it seemed like the purple one did know something.
But Mirror just stood there and said nothing.

[Atriark]

Atriark - Side of the Hospital

The zebra rubbed his forehead and looked to Kroll. "Yes Kroll, you should go up to the airship, by yourself unsupervised. Promise that you won't injure, kill, or maim anypony. I know you still have policing lessons from your province still engrained into you, but please try to remember that it is generally frowned upon at the Manehattan Police Department to eat ponies. I am aware that only a few gryphons have cut ponies out of their diet. But, you wouldn't do anything like that, would you?"

[Kroll]

Kroll - Beside Atriark, Preparing for Takeoff.

The griffon smirked at the zebra's questions as stretched his wings out some, his eyes fixated on the airship that hung overhead. "Come now partner, this is how much doubt you have of me?" he said with a coy laugh. "For one so concerned of my methods, you are so certain that you don't to come along!"

Before he could be stopped, Kroll took to the sky in a gradual, ascending spiral as he headed straight for the airship

[Hijinks]

Hijinks watched the griffon fly upwards, relief etched on her face. "Gee, it's nice to see Manehatten's finest in action. Really setting an example for the young and all that," she commented cheerfully with sarcasm hanging over every word.

Done with her little witty banter to nopony in particular, the filly turned to Atriark, who is now stranded on the ground until Kroll comes back. "Griffons don't actually eat ponies. That's only a fib. That'd be... horrific, yeah?" She stated confidently.

[Lance]

Scintillance reminded Hijinks that he would more or less have to assume that any directionless banter would be towards him; he'd hear everything, anyway. He also wanted to add that Griffons probably eat ponies as often as they'd eat each other; it's a carnivore thing. humorously he's met more cannibalistic ponies than he's met pony-eating griffons, and he's met a lot of griffons, if that meant anything.

[Void's Mirror]

Mirror Lone - Alley side hospital thing

Mirror watched the two policemen with visible disbelief. She looked from one to another until the griffon jumped off and flew towards the airship.
As she heard the filly's question whose name she still didn't know she frowned. Though having somehow believed it herself a few seconds - now she doubted that it was true that griffon ate ponies. Or at least not the civilized ones. It would make living together too difficult.
She shook her head and opened her mouth for an answer but stopped herself. It wasn't her the filly had asked.

[Atriark]

Atriark

The zebra looked at the little filly and shrugged. "I couldn't tell you one way or another. I'm sure my partner will only cause a few ponies minor injuries. He hasn't taken fully to how Equestria does law enforcement yet. Regardless," he looked between the two, "I'd like for you two to answer some questions for me."

[Kroll]

Kroll - Airship Deck.

The griffon landed on the wooden paneling of the airship with a heavy thud, the weight of his armor evoking a small groan from the timber that was ultimately drowned out by the blared from the speakers. Grinding his beak in irritation at noise around him, Kroll tromped off with his rifle firmly in his claws, intent on finding just who was responsible for this mess.

[Lance]

Scintillance- Floating around in Hijinks' brain

Lance was alarmed. This zebra was way too calm considering what he Just said; this was Equestria, things are done way more peacefully than anywhere else, let alone in the Griffon Kingdoms. Even if that griffon was unfamiliar with how things worked in Equestria, a single griffon  of any kind turning violent on Equestrian civilians of any kind would cause a mass panic, a spurr of xenophobia, and with all the Griffon refugees coming in right now...

That griffon has to be stopped. finally, Scint's speech could be heard, clearly, but only in Jinks' head. "Tell him! Apologize for giving such an idea and tell him that if a griffon goes rogue during a time of mass griffon refugees coming in, it might doom the possibility of griffons and ponies living in peace right now!" Lance's voice almost boomed in what felt like Hijinks' ears.

[Void's Mirror]

Mirror Lone - You all know where

Mirror - other than the voice in the filly's head that she couldn't hear - didn't catch the further meaning of the policeman's statement. She was more concentrated on what the zebra wanted to ask her. She didn't have anything to do with the party.

"Well, ask your questions, then. But I fear I might not be of great help. I just happen to be here by coincidence. You know, I was helping out at the hospital when the music started", she told him and looked at him quite confidently. Honestly, she hadn't done anything wrong. And slowly she started forgetting the pouch...

[Hijinks]

Hijinks - Being shouted at by the voice in her head

Hijinks was about to reply to the zebra before the filly experienced what felt a pony shouting full force in to her ear. She held back a scream and covered her ears, but it didn't help at all as the voice only seemed to get louder without the background noise. "Ugh! Shut up!" The filly swore as the pouch pony finished.

Just as she said that, she instantly realized her slip. It probably looked like she was telling the zebra or Mirror to shut up. "Err, I mean..." The filly scrounged around her brain for a recovery only to come up blank. "...Ah, screw it!" She jumped up in the air, hovering directly in the zebra's face. "You're stupid! Do you even know what you just did?! You just sent a volatile mad griffon up there on that ship to assault one of the most popular pony celebrities in Equestria! Are you out of your mind?!" The filly screamed in the cop's face.

Airship something something

Kroll's landing on the galleon class airship did not go unnoticed by the crew. Several of the assistants looked up nervously from their job of maintaining the musical equipment but made no move against him. The DJ, who was in the center of the deck, stood behind a complicated desk of flashy lights and spinning disks, and she was far too busy to pay attention to Kroll, nor did the white unicorn even look up past her electric, light blue mane to acknowledge the griffon. Though it was hard to tell since her eyes were covered in groovy looking purple shades.

[Atriark]

Atriark - being yelled at by a Filly

Atriark gave the Pegasus filly a cold look. "I would watch what you say there young miss. My partner and I are officers of the law and there are repercussions for verbally assaulting officers. And if I do remember, sending my partner up there by himself was your idea. And your friend here didn't seem to object to it. Now, I'm a nice zebra, all I wanted to do was ask some questions in the relative quiet of the police station. But I am stuck here, while my partner is up above checking the permits of the airship. I have no doubt that they do have the proper paperwork, but the police station was given no warning about this, so we have to be sure. So please, calm down and get out of my face before I have to no longer be a nice zebra, and tell me why you were up on the airship? And if you could indulge my curiosity, explain what drew you down from there?"

[Void's Mirror]

Mirror Lone

Aghast. And totally speechless. That was Mirror; and shocked. With open mouth she looked at the filly. She wanted to stop her, make her calm down - but found herself again not knowing the filly's name. So she said nothing, and by that time the zebra had begun speaking.

She frowned again. Friend? Was it here he meant. She sighed innerly. He hadn't listened to her, it seems. But can she blame him when in the next second a filly was freaking out?

[Hijinks]

Hijinks didn't make a move away from Atriark, but instead of yelling in his face, the filly looked worriedly up at the airship. "Yeah, paperwork." She started rambling to herself, cutting off whatever the crystal might say. "More like gun work! Did you see the way he fiddled with his gun?! He's going to shoot DJ-Pon3 and it'll all be my fault and I'll never get to hear her songs again!" She sobbed as she sunk back to the ground, landing on her haunches. Where was Uncle Shen when you needed him?

[Kroll]

Kroll - Airship Deck

As Kroll looked around the deck of the galleon-class airship one of the assistants made eye-contact with him, resulting in the tercel briskly storming towards them before they could find a way to avoid talking to the police officer. "Equestrian! I demand to speak to whoever this vessel is in the charge of!" he shouted, not sure if the pony would be able to hear him over the din of music.
