A Note From Nowhere [Closed]

[Whiteout]

Whiteout was totally confused by what happened to her this morning, she was just heading out for some breakfast while she had some time before work and she was suddenly hit in the head with a rock with a note attached to it, reading to herself "valuable information. Corner of Hoof and Buck 18:00 hours, come alone."

She was indeed interested by this and arrived a hour early at the spot, a tall apartment building stood on that corner surrounded by many much smaller houses, all in pretty good condition, she stood on the roof looking down at where she was supposed to meet whoever threw the rock at her "lets hope i did not make a bad choice by coming here" she said to herself.

[Iris Hawkeye]

*A lone pony walks around the corner dressed in a suit and stands at the corner looking around as if to be waiting.*

[Whiteout]

Whiteout has surprise on her side so she silently glides down and lands behind the pony without making a single noise, without this pony noticing she stands behind it and suddenly starts talking "you know throwing rocks is not nice" she just assumed this was who she was supposed to meet.

[Iris Hawkeye]

A hoof wraps around Whiteout and a knife goes to her throat. The figure with the knife is standing in the shadow of the building. It is after sunset and the shadow is harsh making the figure unseeable. A bag of coins flies from the darkness and into the suited pony's hooves. The pony knows he did his job and walks away as if nothing happened as instructed. "My sources never told me you were so short, Whiteout."

[Whiteout]

Whiteout keeps her calm as she is held at knife point, she knew whatever polite conversation she hoped for was not going to happen "the note did not say a coward would be ambushing me." she said in a calm voice

[Iris Hawkeye]

Iris ignores the comment. "Do you know how many rebels have their bows trained on you right now? Look in the windows. They're everywhere." Many pony silhouettes fill the windows of the four buildings at the four street corners. "It was not wise to come alone, White."

[Whiteout]

Whiteout looks around for a moment and counts each archer in her head than returns to talking "They know where i am, if i don't come back they will come here." this was a lie but she than realizes something "This is allot of work for just one small griffon, you don't want to kill me, what do you want from me?"

[Iris Hawkeye]

"Oh, you know, just a few things..." Iris moves the hoof without the knife down to Whiteout's heart. "Oh my, Whiteout. Your heart is racing right now" she says with emphasis on the word 'racing' "Are you tired? Scared? You know..." she leans on Whiteout's back and Whiteout can feel her heart beat for a second. "... my heart is beating too. It's because I'm excited. Excited about what I have planned for you."

[Whiteout]

Whiteout hid her emotions well but her heart did not, she was surely scared inside But she still kept hiding it "Than what do you have in store for me equine?" she said that sentence with a bit of anger in her voice, although she was still worried about what may happen to her soon.

[Iris Hawkeye]

"Ah ah ah.. Keep your temper, White. Remember, a good amount of the Rebels are watching... I have a deal to make with you, White. It is a deal which I am sure will benefit us both greatly. First, I would like to take this moment to promise you that nothing you or I say can be heard by the Rebels standing before you. There are no tricks from here on out. That being said, are you ready to begin?"

[Whiteout]

White out speaks in the same tone "i don't really have much of a choice do i." she than prepared to hear whatever the Pony had to say to her

[Iris Hawkeye]

The knife is withdrawn and the figure steps back into the shadows. If Whiteout would turn around all she would see is the faint green gleam of the figures eyes. An arrow whizzes past Whiteout's head, but was shot from the ground; not the windows in which the silhouettes were standing. The arrow hits a silhouette and it falls out the window exposed to what light remains in the area turning out to be a figure made of random materials. Not a pony. "Now then. In case it isn't obvious by now, there is nopony here. Just me and you, White. I am willing to make a trade in exchange for inside information about the Rebels. If at any time, you do not want this information, feel free to leave and nopony will pursue you. Understood?"

[Whiteout]

Whiteout feels a bit dumb from this deception but is still interested in whatever this deal is but of course she has to get something out of it "First of all, what is in it for me?" she did not let go of thing easy so she made sure she would have to pay for what she wanted.

[Iris Hawkeye]

"Names of various undercover Rebels. I trade one name at a time."

[Whiteout]

Whiteout nods "That seem reasonable." she thought this information may be useful to her commander and she may get a pay rise or a promotion out of it "So what do you need?"

[Iris Hawkeye]

"Well the first one will cost you money."

[Whiteout]

"Fine, how much?"

[Iris Hawkeye]

"How much you got?" she says with a smile. Her teeth give of a cheshire's cat effect making it so that is all that can be seen in the shadows aside from her eyes.

[Whiteout]

Whiteout rolls her eyes and than reaches into her bag and takes out what looks like maybe 75 bits "I don't carry much on me." as she passes them to her

[Iris Hawkeye]

"Hmmm. That's worth 3. Megabyte Stream, Rationale, Steel Strike. I have better names, but the next two will require favors. Next one will require my legal protection."

[Whiteout]

White out sighs, she already got quite a bit of info from her but she still wanted more "I don't know if i can do that, i can offer you my personal protection but nothing more."

[Iris Hawkeye]

"If SangWing or the big guy with the sword come after me, if you can help me get away, then that's enough. But I need your promise that it will happen."

[Whiteout]

Whiteout nods "Fine i promise." she reachs into her bag tosses a key to her "That unlocks the door to the towns clock tower, i nest there and nopony nor griffon knows its even there, you can hide there if you wish."

[Iris Hawkeye]

"Cool. My name is Iris Hawkeye. I am not with the rebels, but I help them and legally am just as much of a problem as any other rebel. Last name is a very important one. It could change your life." She floats a picture of her brother in front of Whiteout's face. "For that name, I need you to have somepony send out a search party for this guy."

[Whiteout]

whiteout puts a claw on her own head "Ohh yeah, that's totally reasonable, i can totally just send out a search party of griffons to looks for one pony" she says in a very sarcastic tone

[Iris Hawkeye]

"He's a very important pony to me. And the name of this pony will be a very important pony to you. You handle orders and you're smart. I'm sure you can come up with something."

[Whiteout]

Whiteout starts rubbing her head a bit "Thanks for the vote of confidence...Its not like relaying fake orders has the punishment of being tortured to death....i wll think of somthing."

[Iris Hawkeye]

"Last name: Atriark. Combat Medic for the Rebels. I believe you know him fairly well. You're welcome, Whiteout. I want that search party." With that, Iris leaves the scene quietly as to not be caught past curfew.

[Whiteout]

Whiteout rolls her eyes "Well thats a few good IDs but i know Atriark is not a rebel."

[Iris Hawkeye]

*Iris is gone and doesn't reply leaving Whiteout to second guess her denial of Atriark's stance.*
