Event Plot Planning
To make things a little more organized, we have set up this area for the plot planning for Events specifically. This will also help the GM of the Event to know who is taking part in the certain Events. Also within each plot planning, the one running it will explain how the event is going to be run and if they have a few stipulations to help set the mood etc etc. What would be very helpful would if you put a link to your event character sheet into the event plot planning they are apart of. To help with easy access for both the player and the gm alike. Thank you and I hope you enjoy

CUE CARDS TEST EVENT
Assassin Ninja Dinner Party
In this event, players will take the roles of guests at a fancy dinner party. Their party is cut prematurely short when the host turns up dead in a closet.
Players must find out who did the murder, all while making sure the killer doesn't strike again. Players must talk to eachother, uncover clues, and
How to Play:
Cue Cards is a flexible, roleplaying based game. There are no strict rules; just respect the normal powerplaying rules and give the GM the occasional opportunity to say something or reveal a clue.
The trick of the game is the cue cards. The GM gives each player a cue card before they make their character. The cue card has five rules on it for that specific player. The player gets points by following the rules on their card. Nobody is allowed to know what is on your card, and you are not allowed to share it.
An example cue card:
>Once during the roleplay, you must tackle Lord Washburn- you hate his character.
>If you see something with the color red on it, regardless of what it is, you must cover yourself in it.
>You did not kill the suspect; You are not allowed to pretend that you did, and must deny claims that you are the murderer
>Your fiance is Princess Buttercup. You are now allowed to let anyone harm her.
>You have a phobia of Griffons. You must avoid Griffon players at all costs.
Players score points by completing their cue cards. At the end of the thread or event, they all reveal their cue cards, and the GM counts points. The person(s) with the most points win Cue Cards.
The GM will know what is on your cue card because he wrote it- he will deliberately try to play the players against eachother. But do not try to break the roleplay in order to get a better cue card score. The GM awards one point for the best overall roleplayer, and one point to everyone who didn't use any OOC text or actions during the game.
Now, who is interested in a game of Cue Cards?

Re: Event Plot Planning
Huh, that does sound interesting. At first I thought I'd bring Falling Star into the game, but it doesn't seem that's how this is meant to go. You give out all the characters, right?
In any case, I'm in.

The GM gives out the cue cards. The players are then permitted to register event characters as long as the event character sheets dont reveal anything about the cue card.

Then the question is, are you fine with Falling Star's special talent? I originally made him a detective because of that^^

Re: Event Plot Planning
Since we have the first four players, I will begin divvying cue cards.
Please use your cue card to design and register an Event Character in the Event Character section.
You should begin recieving a Cue Card via PM in the next ten - twenty minutes.

Little info: Lance is out of the game again, so there's a free position for the murder case to be filled!

Re: Event Plot Planning
The Pet Shelter rescue was cancelled due to lack of interest. I instead propose the following event:
Honor Among Thieves:
A successful bank robbery has resulted acquired a small gang of robbers to acquire a sizable bounty of solid gold bullion and mixed metal coinage. They've evaded authorities and arrived at their hideaway where they've begun to count the loot.
Now the issue of how to divide it, and who gets what comes along. Can the robbers come to an agreement, or will the night be settled in blood? Each robber has specific demands and needs, and some have ulterior motives that will sharply contrast the others.
OF NOTE:
The GM apologizes for the mess with the Pet Shelter cue cards, as he received lots of complaints due to their general idiocy. He's promised to make the Honor Among Thieves cue cards a lot more game-pertinent and not do the "fill it with stupid quirks" thing.
