The mare finally breaks "Iris... Iris Hawkeye." she says in a half crying, half terrified voice.

Scanion grinned at Iris' pain, it was a nice morale booster but, sadly this mare broke easier than preferred.  Scanion moved in such a way that made Iris' hat fall off, which had been on this whole time. 
To his surprise, he was indeed dealing with a unicorn here. That mean't the description fit pretty well. He went and had a look at Iris again, after a minute he realized two things that insured it wasn't his target. Iris was far to young to be the assassin he was after, and she was missing a mark on her flank completely. 
He sighed, slightly angry with being wrong. It made his job a bit harder. But he had a job to now. "Now. Tell me, how did you come to being so injured that a Griffon had to help you to safety?" He said menacingly.

I was...  attacked... by another griffon...

Now they were getting somewhere, "Who was the Griffon that helped you?"

[Iris Hawkeye]

(It's all good)

The mare decides to be loyal to the griffon that helped her, which is a rare occurrence. She remains silent, saying nothing, almost as if she didn't hear Scanion.

"That's more like it, resist! All the more fun for me." He said happily as he started twisting his knife whilst it was still stuck in Iris' leg. "Although you're just better off telling me, might not have to kill you otherwise."
