Shade set hor own plate down on the floor and began relocating the second bed so that it was right next to the other. Anything to give her more time to think before answering that quesition! It really didn't take long though, even with her injury. Soon enough she was lying next to Scrapper, her food before her, but didn't feel like eating. The first pancakes in a very, very long time, and it had to be spoiled by a foal! And Scrapper will ask again any second now. How the heck am I supposed to tell him this?!?

Scrapper went through some other ideas, not really coming to any conclusions as Shade moved the other bed next to his and lay next to him.
In the timespan of her leaving the room, she was told something or something happened that is making her reluctant to say it to him. It was nothing that endangered either of them, she'd react differently to that. But she is trying to think of a way to say something and isn't sure how to word it. Meaning it's big, real big.

Scrapper just let it slide as he thought, and began eating the pancakes placed before him. He simply kept thinking back, further and further. His only hint was that it was going to be hard to tell him, and him alone. Shade wasn't even eating her favourite food.

"Soooo, is that a no then?" he said as he ate.

Oh, come on! It's getting ridiculous! Shade was getting frustrated, and changed tactics. She couldn't get herself to say it directly? Time to recall a memory. "Remember when I said that I would need to change a lot to be a mother?" There! it was finally out! Scrapper could figure the rest. And with that being so, Shade found it easier to continue. "I also need to change quickly."

"Oh, damn." he said suddenly. "That would have been my next guess, but you gave it away just in time." He chuckled.

He didn't even change what he was doing, he just kept eating his food like nothing changed. Even though a lot has just changed in a very short timespan.

Scrapper put a leg around Shade and brought himself closer to her. "I don't know why you're worried." He said calmly. "Yeah, it's a shite time for it but the more you ask yourself 'Why' the less you actually ask yourself how you'll adjust to it. Boss always told me that one, that's why I haven't freaked out just now."

Shade picked her head up again, and turned it to look at her belly. Now that she thought about it, she had felt funny at times in the last few weeks. It never held all that long, so Shade hadn't mind. She had just blamed one cold or the other, going away before it could even fully hit her. Instead she got a parasite, and one that wouldn't take long to heavily handicap her. "I don't want to get all pudgy", she finally said with a frown.

"Well, that isn't you saying you don't want a foal, you just don't wanna look fat!" He said cheerfully.
"Does that mean I can have those pancakes?" He said with a grin.

"No way! I need to eat for two now!" Shade imediately protested, and began to dig in. On a side note, the cook was quite good! Or Shade had stuck to raw food for so long that she was overreacting a little, but she obviously enjoyed it. "We'll need to wrap up with Blackwing before I have to retreat from the field", she said between (and during) the bites. "And if the griffons are actively searching for us because of today, we'll need to do something against that as well. Fake our deaths if necessary."

"I would have thought just changing our names would have worked, then again, I was never there when Griffons took down names." he said as he finished off his own pancakes.
"I think we should just see how it goes. If they know what I look like when I'm wandering around then we should think about alternatives."

"They don't know my name, or at least they didn't show it if they do. But we should assume they know yours. If an accurate enough description reaches Blackwing, they'll know. And the scar unfortunately makes describing you pretty simple." After a short pause she added, "If we start using fake names, I'll go by Ruby."

It did take him a minute, but eventually he dragged one out his butt. "Y'know, screw it I'll call myself Solaire. Even though that name would better fit Lance, but I like it! Shut up!"

Shade shook her head. "Everfree would mean isolation. And it's generally not the location to raise a foal. But possibly near the Everfree, so that we can quickly disappear if necessary." A look of curiosity spread over Shade's face. "I wonder if Ponyville is still standing. Haven't been there for ages."

"I wonder also, it was quite a town back in it's day. But then again, last time I was there was for a rave party when I was on leave. So, naturally I'd give it a good rating!" He said happily.

"Train also needs authorisation doesn't it? I havent been on one in a long time, but I imagine griffons have a lock on that too. Unless you think using our fake names and registering as actual citizens is a good idea." He said in reply.

Scrapper grinned, "Yeah, that's quite true. What about an actual home then? Non-registered citizens can't get a building contract or anything like that I don't think. But don't mark my words, I've been a Nomad for years!"

"Same for me. Never stayed in a lively place for long", Shade answered. "I'm hoping that if we go to a small enough community they don't check our identities too thoroughly. Ponyville is possibly too big, but I bet it has lost population since my last visit."

"And yeah, I do sound like I wanna take the easy route, but it's not just about us anymore." He said afterwrads.

"Either we get citizenchip legally, then they would want to know who we actually are and ask around. If we do some forging, we have to hope that they never check too deeply. Either way there is a way it might come back to us", Shade said, when there was a knock on the door. A moment the lock turned, and Silvern stepped in, followed by a gray unicorn mare. "Hello again", Shade greeted Sil.

Silvern smiled. "Good to see you calmed down again."

"It's hard to worry about the future with him around", Shade answered good-humoredly, pointing at Scrapper.

"Anyway, this is Crystal, she has agreed to help you with your hoof."

"Or at least the worst part of it. I still need magic left", the mare said smilingly, levitating the healing artifact that Shade had used on Lance' cousin a while ago to Shade, who extended her left forehoof and removed the bandage.

"Thanks for the help. I don't think it should take much to make it painless", she said, nodding respectfully at Crystal.

"No problem."

The healing process was rather unspectacular, with the wound being only a small hole. Crystal ended it after about 10 seconds, still leaving a hole, but a definitely even smaller one. Shade imediately tested it. "Sill a bit sensitive, but at least I can walk properly now. Thanks again."

With her job done, Chystal left them alone, and Silvern took the word again. "And second, your new room is ready. If you would follow me, please."

"Alrighty then!" He said as he got up, and also waited for Shade to get up so he could push the bed back in place like the Gentlecolt he is.

He then got up and followed Sil.

They passed the way in silence, thanks to the guards escorting them again, but it didn't take long to get to their destination. The room was a little bigger, with only one, but wider bed, a table and chairs, as well as a door that led to a very basic toilet. Which was, quite frankly, luxury in the Undercity. But when someone wasn't supposed to leave a room, they couldn't just use an out-of-the-way tunnel, so prisoners were generally more likely to have that luxury. If they weren't served off with a bucket, that is.

"You're lucky that facilities are my domain", Sil said when the guard had left them alone. "If I had needed to ask Silver first this wouldn't be possible."

"Thanks by the way, how little that might actually mean right now." He said with a bow of the head.

"It might be my fault that this is happening. The least I can do is try to make you comfortable", Sil said and turned to Shade. "You're allowed to bring books and other items in, as long as they aren't deemed weapons, or tools to escape. The guards are ordered to search you whenever you come in. And I also would suggest that you let nopony see how you conjure your throwing stars, or Silver will most certainly revoke your permission to visit Scrapper."

"Yes, I can imagine that", Shade answered. "Thanks from me as well. The only alternative would probably have been going on confrontation with the rebellion."

"That would probably have been bad for both sides. But I have to go, I still have other things to do."

"Can you tell what it's gonna be?" Shade asked before Sil closed the door behind her.

The blind mare grinned at her. "Looks like a pony", she said and left.

"Well, that's at least something, I suppose."

"Of course not! I was just hoping for a more precise answer. But I guess it will remain a surprise for now", Shade answered, and looked at Scrapper grinningly. Time to bore him again! "Now that hopefully won't be interrupted anymore, how about getting back to our meditation exercises?

Characters: Feral/Scrapper T. Ferrous, Shadowstrike, Silvern Gleam, (Silver Lining)

Summary: After having successfully fled from the riots, Scrapper and Shade visit Silvern Gleam in hope for help with a new, feral personality in Scrapper's head. However, after Feral's killing spree on the surface Silver Lining had ordered his arrest. Scrapper turns himself in, mainly so that Feral can't endanger Shade, who keeps him company in his new cell. However, they have to realize that the situation isn't crazy enough yet when Shade learns that she's pregnant.
