Occupation: Scavenger/Crafter - Hunts for supplies and resources which still have use. Uses them in various different ways to make them useful so himself
Virtue: Frugal - Keeps resources of value and uses them. Rather than leaving them to waste
Special Talent: Crafting - Can craft various items into more useful tools, Ranging from On-The-Spot weapons to More deadly ones. Can also make tools for getting around, As well as Repair things.
Minor Talents: Fast Running and Parkour - Uses these skills to help in Scavenging, or for Combat purposes. Uses them to escape quickly if combat is not an option.

I’m Scrapper. I'm just your everyday Scavenger. That's a lie, I really ain't. I'm smarter at it, Or just lucky. I mean, I got lucky enough to find some very Unique clothing. Or maybe I'm just good at what I do? That's for you to decide pal. Here's something you should know about me, I don't talk much. I see no point in it. But when I do, my accent makes me easy to remember.
I gave up on pretty much everything I used to know since the Griffons took over, I was one of the lucky ones. I truly had nothing to lose to begin with; I can honestly admit that what’s going on now, Could be the greatest thing that’s happened, for me at least. It gave me a true purpose, Survival.
I find it hard to make friends in today’s Reality. Mainly because I’m, what most blokes call, a Loner. Personally, I prefer the term “Lone Wolf”, it reflects me very well. It’s either that, Or It’s because I’m too much of a smartass. Well I’m not just any smartass scavenger; I build things out the most useless items. Weapons to be more precise, On-site crafted weapons that can be just as deadly as any weapon the Griffons or Rebels carry. I know the Griffons tolerance with ponies that carry weaponry. But the benefit of making the weapons like I do, Is that I can just as quickly get rid of them. What they don’t know won’t hurt them right? No, wait. It can!
I’ve never stayed in one place either. I’ve been all over Equestria, because Scavenging in the same place just dries it out of resources. Thanks to doing that, I also look good while I do it. Found an old home with these very Uniquely made clothes. Haven’t seen anything like them before, but they look good!
Save Equestria. Whenever I’ve read that poster I’ve had to lie, Save Equestria… What for? And from what? From ourselves? Life’s simple, Kill or be Killed, Don’t get involved and always finish the job, a survivors code, MY code. And it all sounds great until you find yourself confronted by a choice. A choice to make a difference, to help somepony? Or to walk away and save yourself.
Now I find myself here, in Manehattan, With an Assassin as a marefriend, an Idiot who glows all the time, and a recently freed mind. God damn, life is good!
- History:
Scrapper T. Ferrous was born the same way as every other thing he lived around. He lived life almost the same as well. But what made him distinct is his accent. Not only did it make him obvious to hear, He came out as a smartass to everypony he talked to. What didn’t help is that he was a smartass, Very over confident and full of pride.
At a very young age he was forced to turn to thievery to survive, eventually caught, he was old enough and talented enough to be forced into the guard as a punishment for his actions, to teach him discipline.
During his time as a Guard, a certain high-ranking officer whom held great respect saw Scrapper’s talent when it came to CQC (Close-Quarters-Combat) and took him on as her apprentice. The Officer herself being a Master at it, never had to carry a sword, Scrapper had to however as part of regulation. He learned everything he knew about fighting from that Officer who he simply called ‘The Boss’.
After a while, both of them had formed quite a bond. It was like being taught how to live life by somepony who knew what they were doing. His Mentor corrected every mistake he made, every word, every thought, every movement, Everything. He eventually saw her as the Mother he never had, and began treating her as such, never falling out of line and always doing his best at the task’s she gave.
Before the Griffons attacked Equestria however, Scrapper led a fairly tense life. Having already found his talent in making and fixing things with the simplest resources you could get, He did his job fast, and efficiently. It wasn’t until a shortly before the Griffon attack the he had practiced making deadly weapons and tools in secret. He began to believe that the peace and kindness would never last, and he promised that he’d be ready for it.
Scrapper never knew his parents. In fact, a lot of his memories of his far younger life are obscure. He may have actually known them once, but not now. He doesn’t know why he can’t remember past a certain point in his mind. But his mind would react to the events, badly. Whenever something he sees or hears is similar to one of his forgotten memories, His head aches in severe pain, and he remains immobile with his eyes shut tight. Most of who witness it say he is seeing things of his past, But they are so obscure he still cannot explain them to anypony. He normally describes them as, “A bloody red mist that can’t learn to leave me be...”
Scrapper started listening to loud music at clubs during his leave from the Guard. It helped to distract him from his thoughts and after a while, He began to see it as the cure. He frequently went to a place he especially enjoyed to listen to the music that was played, He describes the one who played it as, “A lovely white mare with the greatest taste for music I’ve ever seen!” He was at the same place when the Griffons first attacked.
The day after the wave of Griffons hit, Scrapper had to climb over bodies of the fallen when he awoke. Somehow surviving the initial attack, to wake and find chaos. He used his speed to get around and try to find safety, being spotted by a passing Griffon soldier in the process. His speed had proved useless because the Griffon just flew above him, but because he had prepared for this in advance, he went to one of his custom weapon stashes and grabbed a weapon. Direct combat would have certainly meant death, so he used what he could of his environment and eventually beat the Griffon thanks to that.
After being recovered by the Guard, Scrapper was just that generic soldier who did what he was told. Unfortunately for them, He only ever listened to his mentor, which he lost contact with early into the war. And because he hated how stupid his orders were he went AWOL (Absent With Out Leave).
It wasn’t all too clever, sometime after ditching the Guard he was picked up and captured by Griffon torturers and taken to a fort in the hills dedicated to torture practice. He did escape, but broke a promise at the same time.
For a large amount of time, Scrapper was lost in wilderness and environments of all kinds. He couldn’t find much in the way of food so he had to turn to the alternative, and hunt animals. At first, it churned his stomach. But being left with no choice he continued and eventually, he got used to it. He felt like the only one of his kind to breach the rules of ponies eating meat sources but he didn’t care after a while. All that mattered was having a reason to Survive.
Years later, After surviving the initial war, Scrapper went solo, only trusting his own choices and his own orders like his Mentor taught him to, putting no faith in those that tell him what to do. He travelled all over the once colourful Equestrian Kingdom, Scavenging for things of use. One lucky find was in an old abandoned warehouse, while searching there he found very strange clothing. But being the kind of survivor that likes the dark, He kept them. And wears them mostly all the time, Giving him an Intimidating look. But also a very distinct and recognisable one.
On his travels, Scrapper made a variety of tools he could use to get around. His most useful tool being the Hoof-Claw. Which he uses to grab things easily. It allows him to perfect his parkour ability with the added benefit of allowing him to hold a bigger variety of objects. He keeps them in his bag at all times.
At present time, Scrapper is based in Manehattan. At first he went there expecting good scavenging spots, but ended up tagging along and eventually falling in love with an assassin called Shadowstrike. And he also met a Unicorn named Silvern whom removed his problematic memories and gave him a clear head. Well… almost clear. They say there are two sides to everyone, unfortunately, this other side is a bit more Obvious when it gets it’s chance to take control.
- Scrapper's Past:
- Scrapper’s past, not an easy one, he hasn’t had an easy life, even up until now. Now, near the End of Year 4 of the Griffon Occupation of Equestria, he finally got rid of a lifelong problem he has had for as long as he can remember.
A splitting headache, caused by his natural instinct to resist the Spell in his head that’s creating it, But the only way to do so, is to bury the memories along with it so that whenever he had a flicker of thought about them the Spell would come back to kill his thoughts in the most painful way he could think of.
The Spell comes from far back when he was just a Colt, Kidnapped at such a young age that he didn’t even get to know his parents, by a Maniacal Unicorn hell-bent on creating a Super-Pony.
He wanted a pony that was Faster, Stronger, Smarter, Everything that would be seen as an improvement to the average pony. That was the Unicorns aim, one that he was willing to do anything to achieve. Scrapper was unlikely to have been the only Test Subject, but he was one of the flawed. Years of tests, pain and suffering, all he inherited was the Speed. He became naturally faster with the aid of the Spell.
He naturally didn’t want to remember at such a young age what was happening to him. The reason he was one of the flawed was because he was unnaturally resilient, something the Unicorn couldn’t sense. Even being a Master of Mind Magic.
What became of him was his lucky chance of escape. His speed helped him achieve that and he forced himself to never remember what happened for the good few years of his young life, where he was nothing but a test subject, Which cost him all the way up until now, very much so he forgot why the headaches happened all together. Distraction’s helped him focus away from his memories and give him the advantage he needed to calm the headaches faster, like Shadowstrike, His recently discovered marefriend. A perfect distraction from the hell his mind creates.
- Scrapper's Multi-Personality Disorder:
After the unicorn Silvern Gleam, with some assistance from Scintillance, somewhat cleared the spell from Scrapper's head. Everything seemed fine for a while, however, Silvern had given warning that the procedure had a chance of causing madness among patients. For some time nothing happened, so he thought he was fine, but it began with Scrapper having strange thoughts about his actions. Like another voice telling him what to do.
This eventually escalated immensely during a mission. His love's life became in danger, his mind went into a worried turmoil, and his other side saw a chance to take its control over his weakened mind state. Shoving him in it's place and taking over, Scrapper suddenly appeared like a mad-pony to everyone else, something that belonged in a mental hospital.
To others, he just lost all sanity he had. Screaming, and shouting, he had a high tendency to try to beat things the death in a mad-pony's rage. All whilst his sane side had watch and try talking to... Himself.
Eventually, his sane side would regain control. When he regains himself is completely random depending on his insane side's metal state.
Silvern's warning had unfortunately come true. He had another side now, only showing when his mental stability falters. What stops his other side from just going on a rampage is his sane side, threatening to retake control and never let him back out. So although his insane side is showing, he still has some degree of awareness thanks to... well, himself.
The only other thing stopping 'Feral' when he is awake, is Shadowstrike. Feral is still Scrapper, he still loves Shadowstrike to death. And will therefore listen to her before anyone else. Mostly like a pet, considering sanity levels.
- Feral:
Feral is a bloodthirsty psychopath. He is the second personality of Scrapper T. Ferrous and a serious force to be reckoned with.
He is willing to go to any lengths to get what he wants, whether it be blood or something else. What aids him in this manner is his seemingly unmatched Physical Endurance.
Feral's attacks are so strong that they hurt him as well as whatever is on the receiving end, straining his muscles with each and every attack to provide the strongest possible impact.
He has kept the intense speed from his other personality, although his regular attacks are slow, he can pull off incredible charge attacks. Using his own body weight, he becomes the living form of a wrecking ball, charging through obstructions and hostile's with little trouble.
To back up his intense strength, is his Endurance. Feral has literally no pain threshold. This make's him a living tank, bulldozing through anything dumb enough to get in his way.
However, being the tank he is doesn't make him immune to his body simply refusing to cope with all the ways he uses it.
Every time he attacks, he strains his muscles. After excessive attacking, he will lose use of the limbs he used the most, meaning during a fight, one of his arms may suddenly become limp and very hard to move. Rendering it completely unusable unless he rests. Being stabbed will also increase the effects of strain on the effected limb, and resting will only bring it's use back as far as the wound will let it.
He also has a boosted stamina, but with all the force he uses it doesn't last any longer than normal, if not less. He will begin to tire out if the fight goes on long enough and eventually just collapse on the ground from exhaustion. Even with Feral's immense willpower.
Not only is he simply let down by his body, even if he is still very dangerous, his eyesight is also effected. Feral is colour blind, everything he see's is in Black & White, but anything remotely Red like Blood or even just a red plant is illuminated easily to him. On this regard, it can be noted that his eye's glow a neon red. Easily seen even in the dark, but he can see the colour Red no matter what the lighting condition is.
Feral cannot speak. Only scream in sheer rage.
Although those downsides are a hindrance, Feral is still a bulldozer. Dealing out brute force to anything that so much as tickles his very short temper.
To sum up Feral's fighting style in a few words, Brute force, Brute force, Brute force.
And anyone with enough sense will see immediately, that Feral is not to be made fun of, lest their head comes off in a single rage filled punch. His naturally large size is enough to make even a Griffon soldier be wary as well.

Nice App! If I may, Im the local resident Smith, Steel Strike. :hattip: You seem like an excellent candidate for someone to help me run the smith! As an apprentice or partner or something. Steel's getting out more, and closing his shop each time he does always has a potential for customer loss (And subsequently RP loss). Also YOU'RE NUETRAL! You don't know it yet, but it's a big deal here. I also happen to be neutral. If you want to work out a partnership or something in RP, just respond.

actually if your a mod in training steel you can ^_^ ive been doing it for a while now lol it should be in an icon on bottom left of sheet that says MOVE and you can choose to move it to character sheets. just makes sure you look them over and you dont think they will mess up the history or be to over powered when you do ^_^
